Je donne 5 étoiles car cet hotel rempli ien son rôle pour le prix que jai payé. Notre chambre etait très propre, les employés etaient toujours avenant envers nos demandes, les déjeuners étaient bons et surtout, cetait tranquille. Nous nous couchions à 21h30 pour nous lever à 07h00 et nous dormions comme des bébés. L'hôtel est proche du Maine Mall et à 20 minutes du centre-ville de Old Orchard Beach et un peu moins du centre-ville de Portland. Dans une évaluation précédente dédié au personnel j'ai dit qu'il n'y avait pas de kleenex, mais en fait ils étaient sur une tablette très haute. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Finalement, vous devez savoir que ce n'est pas un hotel au goût du jour et que les murs de chambre et la piscine entre autre montrent des signes qui trahissent l'âge de L'hôtel. Qu'à cela ne tienne, L'hôtel est propre et le service 5 étoiles. Merci pour le séjour nous reviendrons.

Our room smelled horrible, we had maggots on our floor that i had to clean on numerous occasions. Our ac didnt work i brought it to the frount desk attention nothing was done about it. It was so hot and uncomfortable in our room it made it impossible to sleep. We stay there often and love it so this was very upsetting... it was for my husbands birthday and it was 3 nights.

This was great place and they had nice breakfast in the morning. Shower was worked and was nice and hot. There is pool too. I didn't use it, but plan to in the future.

The information about the property is not up to date. I booked this location for the restaurant and bar which has not been active for 3 years from what I was told at the front counter.

Merry Manor has it all
We were in Portland to catch a show and BW Merry Manor has been a favorite of ours for years. Their location is convenient, allowing easy access to local destinations. Staff are friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good with lots of healthy choices. Much better than most places we have stayed. We especially love the heated outdoor pool, swimng while its snowing! The indoor jacuzzi is spacious and relaxing.

My 10 year old grand daughter and I enjoy the outdoor heated pool and the hot tub with the hot waterfall. We like the included breakfast.

The Inn was clean and inviting. Special touches were apparent - coffee available, amazing breakfast buffet, and the staff was extremely helpful. We felt we were in a safe environment and were very comfortable.

My opinion matters...
The room was cozy and comfortable but old. The closet was in an awkward spot and kind of freaked me out for a bit. I couldn't open the closet door. After about 10 minutes my bf tried and realized the door knob that had a key hole didn't turn and that the door pulled open. The bathroom was definitely outdated. I thought it was really strange that it had really, really low drop ceilings and right in the middle of the ceiling was the fan which looked like it was about to fall out of the ceiling. There were gaps in the drop ceiling panels from the fan pulling/falling down which could have happened at anytime. The pool area was awesome except to get to the inside where the hot tub was, you had to go outside and walk through the courtyard in the freezing cold. That was upsetting to me. I truthfully don't think I would ever stay there again.

Our room was updated since last time which was nice. Building is old but clean. Disappointed that the outside heated pool was closed our first night but it was open the second night which was great and we were happy about.
