"Arrivées de nuit à la gare d'Odawara, nous avons trouvé très rapidement l'hôtel situé dans la rue en face la gare. Avec de lourdes valises, sa proximité avec la gare a été bien appréciée d'autant plus que le lendemain, il pleuvait... Vue sur la rue très calme."

"It was a beautiful experience to stay in this ‘old timey’ ryokan. Our standard room was simple but spacious and clean, and the staff provided excellent service. The food was delicious too. We tried out the three private baths and enjoyed them all. We liked the nostalgic vibe of the place and felt very relaxed after our stay. This ryokan is great value for money, especially in Hakone! It is a bit difficult/inconvenient to walk up to the ryokan, so try to give them a call when you arrive at the station so they can pick you up (they also offer drop off at the station at the end of your stay)."

"Hotel très bien placé ,près de la gare,d une propreté irréprochable ,une grande chambre claire avec une grande fenêtre et vue sur jardin,un espace de détente et salon immense avec boissons ,desserts et friandises en libre service l après midi et en soirée. Le seul inconvénient est la grande taille de l hôtel ,un vrai labyrinthe oû il est parfois difficile de retrouver sa chambre .Un détail par rapport à la qualité de cet hôtel."

"Great location, right next to the station but separated by a stream and trees, so no noise. Very helpful staff who went out of their way to help. Only slight deception was the updating needed to the private onset, looked a bit tired. Great restaurant with delicious set meal, well worth the price paid."
