Séjour convenable
Très bon accueil. Le personnel, tout au long du séjour, a été à l'écoute et serviable. Gros point négatif : l'absence de véritable fenêtre, dans la chambre (quand on tire les rideaux, on découvre avec regret, non pas une vue sur la baie de Naples mais le reflet de nous-même à travers un miroir...), ce qui est particulièrement décevant, d'autant plus que cela n'était pas mentionné et que mon statut Gold laissait espérer un surclassement ou à défaut, une chambre différente, avec une vraie fenêtre. Petit-déjeuner très convenable, piscine agréable et calme. L'hôtel est très bien placé, à quelques mètres de la rue principale mais pas bruyant pour autant.

Très bel hôtel à 5 à 10 mn du port pour aller à Capri, du Bus pour Amalfi, du train pour Pompéi et de tout ce qu'il faut voir dans Sorrente et d'un tas de restaurants.

Nous avons passé une semaine à ce fabuleux petit hotel en profitant d'un bas tarif hors saison. A 10 minutes a pied de la gare ferroviaire et des bus et également à dix minutes du quai pour les ferry et hydroglisseurs, il est situé idéalement pour visiter Naples, Ercolani, Pompéi , Capri, la côte Amalfitaine et bien sur Sorrento. Personnel accueillant, grande chambre propre et confortable, excellent buffet matinal et wifi inclus. Joli jardin de citronniers et piscine selon la température extérieure A recommander!

Hotel tout à fait correct, bien dans le style d'hotel italient concernant le décor. Par contre on y trouve un personnel très accueillant et très disponible.. La qualité de service est indéniable, donc par la suite on oublie le décor.

Globalement très satisfait
Hôtel très bien situé, près de la gare Circumvésuviana (accès à Pompéi, Herculanum, Naples...)et des restaurants. Personnel très aimable et efficace. Délicieuses pâtisseries au petit-déj. Une seule réserve concernant la chambre 209, qui est très belle, mais a un accès par une terrasse privative (dont la jouissance doit être des plus agréables par beau temps): la porte présente une isolation phonique insuffisante et le bruit de la rue est vraiment gênant le samedi soir. Après une nuit, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, et avons aussitôt bénéficié d'une chambre irréprochable.

I have stayed at a few hotels and B&Bs in Sorrento. By far, Antiche Mura Is my favorite place to stay. I no longer even look for other places when I'm in Sorrento. Everything always exceeds expectations.

They were very accommodating of our late check in and middle of the night check out for flights. Room was clean and had a nice balcony. Great shower and nice sized bathroom. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel location was excellent, near the train station and Piazza Tasso where we met our local tour guide. Also, close to many restaurants and shops. The breakfast was excellent - delicious food and coffee and friendly staff. The hotel has a nice boutique and historic feel and great for experiencing Italy. We would have given it a 5 stars but our room bathroom exhaust fan did not exhaust the shower steam and there was some ants on our last day there. Other than these two items I'm sure the other rooms might be better and would still recommend this hotel for location, breakfast, staff service, and hotel character.

This is a lovely hotel so long as you are not mis-fortunate enough to be placed in their 'economy rooms' on the first floor. They were quick to advise us on arrival that these rooms are 'economy rooms' and therefore don't have windows or any kind of outlook/view. They have a large mirror instead and a tilting window high up out of reach or sight. As has been the case in other reviews I've since seen, they are quick to defend this and state that this is clearly shown in the website pictures. The reality is unless you were deliberately looking for this problem you would not see it. The end result is an oppressive basement/dungeon type experience which just serves to ruin a holiday. I have no problem whatsoever whith a 'standard' or as they call it 'economy' room but this should have been stated as a clear warning to unsuspecting guests. In my view, these rooms should not be used for guests, it's just a demonstration of greed on the part of the property owner/operator. Apart from this, very nice dining room and superb breakfasts with 1st class service. Rooms and hotel in general also spotless and well cared for.
