Formidable
Un hotel simplement formidable avec un service aux petits soins et du personnel extrêmement agréable. L’établissement est chic sans être guindé et il y a tout sur place. Encore merci à tout le personnel de l’hôtel et c’est certain que nous reviendrons. Vue à couper le souffle.

pour un sejour d'aniversaire mentionné à la réservation...nous avons eu la chambre la plus bofff ..vu nul... "chambre 102" vu sur les voisins et l immeuble d'en face....arrivé à 11h30 chambre prête à 13h00 plus ..

Super belle hotel classe
Nous avons apprécié cet hotel super propre à 4-5 min de marche de la piazza Tasso ,du train. L'acces à la plage du grand Royal est un bon atout.Séjour de 3 nuits. Bon petit déjeuner ,sauf que le jus d, orange devrait être du vrai pour la qualité de cet hotel et la réputation de la région pour les agrumes. Idéal pour les excursions de la région.

À notre arrivée une surprise sur notre chambre ! La chambre était qu un couloir avec une petite fenêtre et le lit donnait sur mur sans aucune fenêtre !! Première chose, un hôtel de 4*, proposer ce genre de chambre je trouve cela tout à fait inadmissible ! nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, il était complet, mais nous avons eu la chance d'en avoir quand même une autre plus spacieuse et avec beaucoup de luminosité, en fait tout s'est bien terminé. Nous étions 2 femmes, je pense que c est pour ça qu ils nous ont donné la chambre la plus pourrie !

Hôtel très bien situé. Chaque chambre possède un balcon avec une vue superbe. Le personnel est très gentil et courtois (par exemple, un membre du personnel m'a aidé à établir la communication WiFi de mon Ipad). Les petit-déjeuners (compris dans le tarif) offrent un choix varié et délicieux.

halte après la montée du Vésuve.
un seul petit regret , dans la ville du citron et des oranges le petit déjeuner n'en tire pas partie. sinon vue splendide, hôtel au charme un brin désuet mais qui ne manque pas de personnalité, personnel charmant et prévenant, et une piscine sur le toit avec vue sur le Vésuve, juste de quoi se détendre après la longue montée.

Très bon hotel idéalement situé
5 jours à Sorrento pour découvrir la Campanie. Hotel idéalement situé pour sillonner la région car à 10 minutes de la gare ferroviaire pour se rendre à Naples, Pompei et le Vesuve , 10 minutes de la gare routière pour descendre vers Positano et Amalfi et 10 minutes également du port pour se rendre à Capri.

Cet hotel était à tout point de vue selon nos attentes. Notre chambre avec vue sur la mer et balcon, d'une propreté impeccable. Tout près du train, et à quelques minutes de marche des principaux attraits de la région. Le personnel était courtois et toujours près à nous donner les informations nécessaires. Le déjeuner comportait des mets froids et chauds de bonne qualité. On peut déjeuner dehors sur la terrasse avec ses jardins, ce qui est un atout indéniable. Nous avons souper une seule fois au restaurant de l'hôtel, un buffet avec fruits de mer et c'était vraiment excellent! N'hésitez pas à réserver cet hôtel de la côte amalfi, vous ne serez pas déçu.

Spent 9 nights at Grand Hotel de La Ville. Highly recommend this location when visiting Sorrento. From the pleasant, helpful, attentive staff, to the lovely rooftop pool and bar area where the view is amazing! I can’t say enough about the food in the main dining hall as well as the entertainment, while I was there. The location is close to everything in Sorrento! Truly loved my stay!

As soon as we walked into the lobby the staff greeted us and made us feel welcome. They saw it was my husband’s birthday and made sure to acknowledge this event. This continued throughout our stay!! The experience was 5 star.

The whole experience was fantastic! The hotel is lovely, the staff are amazing. Erica & the bell hop were extremely helpful & friendly. The hotel is close walking distance to everything we wanted to see & do. One suggestion I have is to keep the pools opened later at night. Thank you for everything. We will return!

The front desk service was terrible! We just came from Rome, very tired after 6 hour trip and the clerk made us to stay in the hall for half an hour!!! Also, our son was staying in the different hotel with the football team. When he stopped by to see us, the concierge did not allow him to go on elevator to visit our room??? The excuse given - he is not a guest of hotel. In my traveling to Europe I stayed in many five stars properties, and NEVER heard about the child cannot visit his parents in the room ruling?!

Grand Hotel De La Ville in beautiful Sorrento!
Grand Hotel De La Ville was more than what we expected. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the main shops and a 2 minute walk to a catholic church, for those who go to mass. The hotel was beautiful and spotless, with very friendly staff. The room we had was huge, the bed very comfortable and the washroom very roomy! You could wash clothes and hand them to try in the washroom. The cleaners were thorough and it is the first hotel we have stayed in in Italy, where the cleaners were amazing! The buffet breakfast was very good, with lots of options and so far, the best coffee for us. The grounds were impecable and beautiful, with a nice bar and seating area for evening drinks and food options. This hotel serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, we did not have lunch or dinner there, but did order some food with our drinks one evening, which was handy and the food good. They also have a pool on the roof, with several lounge chairs and umbrellas. The Grand Hotel de la Ville is directly across the street from a lemon orchard, that you can walk through for free; it's quite impressive. Please note that this hotel closes this year mid-November, so we were lucky to stay there. It was worth every penny! Sorrento was our favourite place to visit!!

Was a beautiful hotel with lots of space for relaxing both indoors and out. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking a lemon grove & the sea. Lots of breakfast choices and a lovely bar to have cocktails. Walking distance to the main area however out of the tourist centre.

This is a beautiful hotel- The ambiance alone plus the decor are reasons to visit. We had dinner there and it was incredible. We felt as though we had been transported back in time to the 1959’s- out of the Sophia Lauren movie. This is an experience not to miss!!

This is a lovely 4 star hotel. Great location about two blocks out of Tasso and short walk from the train station. We were there in early October, 2023. We stayed 5 nights, which was plenty of time to explore Sorrento and area towns. The hotel arranged for a driver to take us to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. A & P extremely crowded, but Giovanni dropped us at good entry points. Ravello not anywhere as nearly crowded, with nice cafes on the main square. Room was good sized, over the "garden", so no sea view but nice little balcony. The pool deck on the roof is spectacular, with views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. Breakfast buffet typical but very good and fresh. Omelet/eggs prepped fresh as ordered. Crowd seemed mostly American. Shout out to Alessandro, the barman in the bar off the hotel lobby and on the pool deck. Always working, courteous, and attentive. Same can be said for entire staff. We'd definitely stay here again. This was our favorite hotel throughout our stay in Italy! The room was super clean and we had a large private balcony. The top floor with the pool was amazing. All of the staff members were amazing! Breakfast each morning was also great!

It was great having a balcony in our room and we used it every morning with a view. The coffee was the best we had our entire stay in Italy and the breakfast is worth every dime. Most of the staff was very helpful and accomadating but a few were a bit rude and snarky- the others made up for it though.

Wonderful, solid 4 star hotel w many amenities (2 pools, late night food menu options, very good breakfast buffet) and caring/ cheerful staff. Would recommend for location (easy walk w suitcases to and from main bus and train station), atmosphere and location (quiet at night and 5 minutes from city center). Views from the seaward side rooms are awesome and Mt Vesuvius looks great. Rooms are spacious, well decorated, clean and beds are super comfy.

Beautiful, upscale hotel and grounds. Our room had a balcony facing the sea. Breakfasts were amazing, rooftop bar is a must for sunsets, and rooms are exquisite. Location is about a 10-minute walk to the main piazza of this part of Sorrento.
