A éviter staff incompetent surtout au rooftop
Hôtel exceptionnel en tout point mais personnel très rude surtout à la réception et au bar rooftop qui ne répond pas aux mails de réservation. C'est la 4 ème fois que je viens dans cet hôtel et je suis très déçu. L'accès au rooftop est fermer le vendredi je n'ai pas été prévenu par mail. Je souhaitais réserver pas de réponse... A la réception le personnel est froid. Hôtel rempli . Le petit déjeuner reste très bien et du spa est très bon. Pour conclure je suis venu plusieurs fois photos à l'appui je reste très déçu surtout par le personnel d'accueil et de réservation du rooftop je connais le staff du bar il reste très bon.

Malgré de très belle chambre, le service n’est vraiment pas digne de l’etablisselent. Que ce soit le personnel à la réception ou au rooftop, aucun sourire. Le service au restaurant nous a été refusé 1h avant la fermeture. ( ceci n’est qu’un exemple) ...et la veille le rooftop a été privatisé, sans que nous soyons prévenu lors de la réservation de l’hotel. Bref pour dormir c est bien , pour le reste fuyez !

Chambre exécutive avec vue exceptionnelle sur la cathédrale. Spa agréable et petit déjeuner très agréable sur le rooftop - cuz sur les montagnes. Attention parking payant : 20 euros la nuit et pas de service en chambre après 23h30

Dbien et du moins bien..mais ce n'est pas un 5*
un bon accueil en français de Maxime (trés sympa) et du baggagiste. La chambre était propre, agréable. Par contre, rien de Bulgare ou de sofiote...c'est un design vraiment banal. Le petit-déjeuner est servi par un personnel sympa ..mais à un prix qui équivaut à deux bons dîner dans un restaurant bulgare , on pourrait donc avoir droit à plus de choix et à des produits de meilleur qualité que du thé que l'on achete chez leader price! Le bar offre de belles vues mais le design n'a rien de spécial et ...le service des plus Moyens , refus de servir un verre d'eau avec un café frappé...obligation de prendre une bouteille d'eau .Le meilleur pour la fin : je suis allé au spa et j’ai pris un soin de 90 minutes..qui était en fait de 75 minutes. .. j’ai fait part de ma déception au check-out (très moyen +personne n’a aidé pour monter nos bagages ou nous tenir la porte..nous avions payé et nous partions donc nous n’étions plus intéressant ) . la responsable commerciale m’a répondu que cela était normal car j’avais passé 90 minutes et que la personne avait respecté les procédures accompagné de grands principes de qualité etc…bref, sachez que l’on compte dans votre soin le moment où vous remplissez la feuille de renseignements et le temps que vous passez à boire le thé servi après le soins , et le temps (j’’ai attendu 3 minutes pour l’impression d e la facture ) où vous signez…Je n’ai eu que 75 minutes. de soin et on me répond que j’ai passé 90 minutes au spa !

Can't sleep on 8th floor
Superb hotel and welcome at the reception, with a perfect location in the city center, near main attractions. However I get a room on the 8th floor - in which it was impossible to sleep because on 9th floor, there is the bar and the restaurant. So until very late in the night, you could hear all the chairs of the restaurant. My room was also located next to the elevator, also Noisy. Do not ask for a room on 1st floor or 8th floor, you will be very disappointed.

Très bien amis quelques touches à revoir
Le design est sublime, globalement le personnel est très efficace, sauf au petit dej où il faut parfois attendre un peu trop et demander à ce que le buffet soit rempli à nouveau. Nous avons été surpris que le café fourni dans la chambre soit payant. Bar branché sur le toi mais il faut réserver avant d'arriver le we. Hotel pas du tout adapté pour les enfants.

Hôtel central, neuf, silencieux. Petit déjeuner copieux - mais pas varié d'un jour à l'autre. Personnel aimable. On peut regretter que le français ne soit plus la langue de référence et ne soit pas pratiqué dans cet hôtel étoilé, surtout quand survient un dégât des eaux ....

Globalement il n'y a rien à dire sur l'Hotel sauf qu'en rentrant de ma journée de boulot ma chambre était ouverte avec 2 personnes à l'intérieur pour nettoyer la chambre.Jusque là rien d'anormal mis à part que l'une des 2 femmes de ménage était en train de regarder à l'intérieur de mon portefeuille au moment ou je suis arrivé.Là j'ai fait un scandale je suis descendu à l'accueil avec la personne en question qui s'est fait virer sur le champs.J'ai aussi obtenu réparation de la part de l'hotel.

Beautiful hotel, great area, service needs work
This hotel was a great value because it was beautiful and in a great location. My room was huge and luxurious. Breakfast was really good if relatively limited choices. My only complaint was the service. They were pleasant at check-in, but they gave me a room on the 8th floor. When I mentioned that all the reviews said not to get a room on an upper floor because the noise from the rooftop bar, they accommodated me, but identified me as “noise-sensitive”. Bigger problem was that reception said I would not need a reservation for the rooftop bar after 11:00 PM (which admittedly I though was odd for a Saturday night if it was such a local hotspot). So I went to dinner, and when I came back around midnight, I went up to the bar and it was heaving, of course. The hostess was borderline rude, and had me sit at a table outside of the main bar area. After waiting for 10 minutes with no further attention, I went back up to the hostess station and asked if I could order a drink, and she begrudgingly took my order and then delivered the drink a couple minutes later. As I was finishing my cocktail and getting ready to leave, she came up and told me they had a place at the bar for me and when I declined, she seemed a little annoyed with me. Check out was also a little clunky, because even with a deposit on file, which more than covered my charges, they ran another charge on my credit card, which made me a little uneasy and honestly, the explanation was not very clear.

This hotel is probably one of the best in Sofia! Locations is very good, all is within walking distance (then again Sofia is not that big of a city). The rooms are very spacious, the beds incredibly comfortable. Room equipped with coffeemachine and good stuffed mini bar. Bathrooms big and luxurious. Molton Brown products, als for sale. The spa is sufficient, one sauna, one steam room, a big swimming pool and one hot and one cold tub. Massages can be booked at the hotel against European prices. Breakfast is pricy, there is good but not as much choice of food. Personell is kind and helpfull. The hotel has a wonderful smell when you walk in. This hotel also has a rooftop bar, probably the best and bestknown in Sofia. Be sure to book a table as you will sit at the bar if you do not. Tables by the window can only be booked with have a minimum number of guests. Bit of a shame if there are 2 people who have to sit by the bar watching the tables by the window being emty. Hotel rate is expensive but worth your while.

Staff is great and are willing to help. The hotel is located in a perfect location overlooking great sights and close to everything. However, be prepared to hear loud music until midnight since the bar is on the top floor. We were in a suite and could not sleep until they closed the bar. Additionally, the pool is only available for one hour a day for kids under 14. Not a family hotel.
