During my fiancé's first trip out of Thailand, we stayed at A Loft in Singapore, an experience that, unfortunately, left much to be desired. Our room was notably smaller than anticipated, a disappointment that was only the beginning of our issues. Shortly after settling in, we encountered an electrical problem when a breaker tripped, cutting power to our air conditioning. While the presence of an ice machine was a small relief, the overall experience continued to decline. Breakfast at the hotel was mediocre at best. Having stayed in numerous hotels across Asia over the past month, I found A Loft's breakfast area to be particularly cramped and overcrowded. Seated outside by the restaurant host, our meal was further disrupted by lawn service using leaf blowers uncomfortably close to the dining area, rendering conversation nearly impossible. Moreover, I experienced bed bug bites during our stay, necessitating medical attention upon my return to Thailand. The bites, located on my right arm, right leg, and left elbow, prompted a report to the front desk to ensure the room would not be allocated to other guests before thorough treatment. The hotel manager, upon checkout, informed me that the rooms had been recently treated for pests and took photographs of my bites for hotel records. In compensation, we were offered a choice between a taxi service or a complimentary drink, neither of which addressed my immediate need for medical treatment.

Hotel room as clean and modern. I didn’t get to take a walk around the property so I can’t comment on anything. I never ate any restaurants as it was only a quick visit to Singapore. Not too far from Marina Bay Area, probably about 15 minutes when there’s not much traffic. Handy supermarket which is attached to the hotel. Reception/check-in staff all very accommodating..

Customer service was excellent, namely Zack in the restaurant and Jay at the front. Friendly and helpful staff that made our 11 day stay there wonderful. Great to have shuttle service to the MRT station and hospital where we went everyday to visit a family member there. Breakfast was excellent and close to some good restaurants which was walkable to.

Service was excellent, helpful, and friendly. The rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast was top notch and had daily variations. Pool was great. The location was the only issue as it was a bit of a distance to most of the attractions but taxis are relatively inexpensive.

From the moment we got out of the taxi I felt like we were treated like luxury. Every single attendant wanted to assist us and they were all so kind. My favorites were Maria and Zach who were handling the breakfast area. This is best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel, top notch! Service was amazing and if I stay in Singapore in the future I’ll be back. 10/10!!!

I received a mail directly from the hotel that I can be upgraded to Urban Room from Breezy Room. However, when I checked into the hotel, the front was not aware of the arrangement and the Urban Rooms were fully occupied that night. I had to stay in Breezy Room for the first night and moved for the following nights. When we informed the front desk on the next morning that we had packed our luggage and ready to move, the front desk staff in our wing had no record and had to check again. Total lack of communication!

非常滿意的周年紀念日
一進房間看到酒店為我們準備的周年紀念日小驚喜,非常有心思。房間都很乾淨,沒有臭味,酒店位置好,隔離便是小型商場,有超級市場和數間餐廳,十分方便。早餐味道好,而且餐廳員工非常細心,看到我的牛角包焗燶了立即換過兩個給我,難得一讚。 對於今次體驗,我和老公都感到非常滿意,感謝所有工作人員的服務。

There are two wings and I would have preferred to be in the same wing where gym and pool is located. Otherwise I have to walk across a car park or mall in my swim wear ! That’s the only not so good thing about this hotel :)
