L'hôtel est idéalement situé en bord de mer ( seule une route à traverser) avec aux alentours une supérette (IGA), une pizzeria et quelques restaurants. L'hôtel possède une piscine extérieure (ludique) et une piscine intérieure de 25 mètres.A l'intérieur se trouve également 3 jacuzzis et une petite salle de gym. Concernant la chambre, j'avais loué une chambre avec balcon avec vue sur mer, le seul petit reproche pourrait être une salle de bain assez petite en terme de surface. Concernant la propreté, il n'y a rien à redire, il faut savoir que c'est un hôtel du genre appart/hôtel et donc que le ménage/changement de linge n'est pas réalisé tous les jours (sauf si demande, dans ce cas je présume que c'est payant) ou si le séjour est > à 8 jours. Pour ma part, j'ai choisi cet endroit pour son emplacement, et pour ses piscines. Malheureusement je n'ai pût profiter de la piscine extérieure à cause des conditions climatiques, pluie et température proche de 19/20 degrés.

Personnel accueillant et prévenant. Chambre et SdB très propres. Je recommande cet ensemble hôtelier pour les familles, avec la piscine extérieure, piscine intérieure et plusieurs jacuzzis. L'hôtel se situe face à une vaste plage.

Located across the road from the beach. At nights, it was a bit noisy from the restaurants below the hotel. The Heritage rooms are a bit dated now and require a bathroom renovation at least. There was some mould in the groutlines and nozzles of the spa bath jets so we didn't use the bath. Shower was in the spa bath, which was quite a big step into and out of. This was aided by a railing, but if you had knee/hip issues, you wouldn't be able to access shower or bath. Kitchen area was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable, hut after asking twice for a firmer pillow, this request was ignored. Dining table and chairs very dated. Hotel was clean, games room was neat and tidy. Pool water was very warm, so we didn't go in, we swam in the ocean. Good parking facilities, and a small supermarket was a few doors away.

Not worth the money. Ok for a short stay but not for more than 2-3 nights. The kitchen oven, stove top and dishwasher are about 20 years old and don’t work properly at all. No locks on balcony doors which also open very loudly, so not good for kids. Couch and furniture was stained.

Great location right across from the beach and next to the country club which has wonderful food and entertainment Pool areas well maintained. Indoor pool area has three spas which were great and the outdoor pool area was lovely and a cute vibe, can get a little crowded though. Downside was the room was not serviced during my stay, no fresh towels or extra toilet paper topped up, rubbish not emptied. Rooms are a little dated. Overall great location and amenities for a short stay

Ramada is your typical family resort. Perfectly located across from shoal bay it provides all the essential amenities for a family holiday - indoor and outdoor pools, spa, fitness centre. Service staff are very friendly. Caine who checked us in and out made us feel very welcome. If you want a no hassle, easy to access place in Shoal Bay - Ramada is ideal.

Solid building in a spectacular location on the waterfront. Easy access to beach and local walks. The mini-kitchen in our suite made it easy to use our own food. Just a very nice place.

The resort is wonderful for families with great pools and plenty of sun lounges. Our room was huge, comfortable and tucked away at the back of the resort in a quiet location, which we loved. Unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready for check in at 2pm and staff forgot that we were waiting and then claimed that they called us, which they hadn’t. It was a bit of a disappointing way to start our stay there, getting to our room almost an hour late but after that, it was great!

Our check in wasn’t a warm welcome, no smiles or welcome. Going up to our room the young cleaners were mucking around and we had to move their stuff to get past, they kept chatting. We found biscuit wrapper under the coffee table. When going down for dinner, 2 staff members pushed past us with containers of empty bottles. It was as if we were in their way. The pool area was great and we were even given an iceblock by a lovely girl who was super friendly. Check out was by same girl who checked us in. She needs to smile, there wasn’t anyone else so wasn’t busy. Great place but people skills needs work.

I dont think they provided the same room how i booked. There was no harbour view. And my room was on the very first floor and the views were very limited. I think i was ripped with this much money. We were given room at the end of the resort From where it was so hard to travel to the front road for even a small coffee and other stuff. Completely Over charged. Very disappointed 😞

Nice view and room. Very clean and relaxing. Very friendly staff. My villa is sitting on hilly land and I am not aware there is a lift reaching my room. If you don’t want to walk on stairs maybe check the other rooms with the reception before booking.

I liked the location and the room. I did not like the fact that the balcony did not have a roof over it to keep it dry when rain is present. I did not like kids in the lap pool. Its for swimming lengths, not standing in with your parents, blocking the swimmers. The hotel should enforce this.

Perfect for a short stay. Bathrooms a bit dated and cramped but the 2 brm apartment was quite spacious with a big balcony and great water view towards the entrace. Everything in walking distance and good choice of eateries close by. Just don't get sucked into the timeshare sell when you check in!

The Ramada was a good property. The facilities were fantastic. It was a real shame though as the reception that’s us the wrong instructions for the parking, and we spent half an hour looking for a parking spot that did not exist. We ended up paying for street parking as the park we were assigned (which we found later in the evening) was height restricted. We used the hotel pool towels (handed to use by reception) and I found a dirty tissue in mine. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed it, it was just poor attention to detail that impacted our stay.

Very comfortable 1 bedroom apartment across the road from beach for 5 night stay. Huge balcony the length of the room which wasn’t expecting. Great location near Nelson Bay and many beautiful beaches. If nit picking balcony could do with a wash and cleaned of spiderwebs. Overall really enjoyable and wish stayed longer. Will return.

Location was great and great facilities. The hotel itself was lovely. Lodged a complaint feedback and the duty manager Phil needs to brush up on his customer service skills. Would not listen to me and was very dismissive.He basically accused me of damaging the mattress protector. Have sent a follow up email and 3 days later I have no response.
