“Bien placé”
L'hotel est plutôt bien placé, à 5-15mins de l'aéroport (taxi). à 20mins à pieds de la gare ferrovière (pour rayonner en andalousie) et 20mins à pieds du centre de Séville. Le restaurant de l'hotel accepte les tickets restaurants, sa qualité est bonne sans plus, le personnel est très agréable. Hotel très bien.
“Faut pas hésiter à le prendre!!!”
situation: bien, Chambres: excellentes accueil très bien métro en bas de l'hotel, 4min pour le centre de seville, 15 min en marchand. Je voyage très souvent et cet hotel est vraiment très recommandable!
“Nice Hotel just off the centre of Seville”
The Hesperia is a good quality 3 star hotel near the centre of Seville helpful attentive and english speaking staff. Nice area, nice room, nice people Would stay her again. To avoid high parking fees overnight park on the side streets. Easy drive from the airport just head for Kansas City Street keep going straight on and turn right just after the El Corte Englis department store.
“Very nice”
We had a great time in Sevilla, the hotel is a little ways outside the main city but there's a metro stop right next to it. If you go to the front desk, make sure you have time because they don't move too quickly there. Otherwise, it was a really nice hotel and was reasonably priced
“Great location - can walk to many places, or hop a bus”
This was a very nice hotel; loved the decor; service was very good;however, we were booked on a smoking floor which was bad enough, but there was also a sewer type smell in the room. Therefore combined with the cigarette smoke, it was very uncomfortable. For our 2nd night we asked to be moved to the non-smoking floor, which was much better, but still had a bit of the sewer type smell.We are still not sure what that was, as the washrooms were fine.
“ok but not great experience”
Compared with a great hotle for nearly the same price in Barcelona, we were disappointed with this hotel. The front desk staff never, ever smiled or said hello and that was our first disappointment. Seems silly but when you travel in a foreign speaking country, friendliness goes a long way to making your stay more enjoyable. Everything about this hotel was adequate, but nothing was great. Room and bathroom was clean and everything was in order, however the a/c was marginal and very noisy. Bathroom door also had a loud creak everytime it was moved. Bathroom soap was awful, but who really cares. TV didn't have on demand movies, which made my 12 year old daughter unhappy because all TV stations were in Spanish. Movies were available at scheduled times but we always missed them. Hotel did not offer free computer/internet use. There were two very old PCs in the lobby which you had to pay a very unreasonable amount to use. Location was fine. If I were you, I'd keep searching, unless you were desperate.
“If this had a coffe/tea-in-room arrangement, it would have been spectacular.”
It's close to the action - you can walk to the old town in 10 minutes; literally, cathedrals, flamenco, food, sangria, espressos are all just that far away. In 40 hours, we walked down thrice. It's also walking distance from the train station, if you want. The staff are attentive and helpful, and do not push the hotel's own facilities too much, but the 8 euro breakfast was not a bad deal at all. Highly recommended. Ignore the flamenco flyers everywhere (including this hotel); go find Carboneria (finding it is an adventure by itself) and enjoy - no cover, a beer and a red wine for less than 4 euros, and really good music and dancing in a great atmosphere.
“Bad food, tiny rooms”
The first room we were given was tiny, the smallest hotel room I have stayed in. We ended up upgrading to a 'junior suite' which was the size of an average room. The restaurant was mostly shut, and what food they did manage to serve us caused me to pretty much spend twenty four hours in the bathroom... Me and my partner ate pretty much the exact same thing all day, except for the Hesperia food, which tasted a bit wrong to me, sure enough three hours later there I was. Location is away from the centre, but getting in is only a 15 minute walk (or 6EUR taxi), so not so bad. Basically - I wouldn't stay here again, and I am pretty peeved that the restaurant was closed. Food and room service are about the main things for me, and to have them so bad was not very good at all.
“Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la città”
L'albergo è pulito e ben tenuto, se non fosse per il mobilio delle camere che risente in parte del passare del tempo. La pulizia è ottima e le camere offrono tutti i comfort che ci si aspetta; il bagno è spazioso e pratico. E' situato nella zona commerciale con cinema, grandi magazzini e ristoranti, anche se non ce se ne rende conto in quanto la zona dell'albergo è molto tranquilla; è posizionato a 20 minuti a piedi dal centro e quindi in ottima posizione per visitare Siviglia. Per chi ha poca voglia di camminare la fermata della metropolitana è a 50 metri dall'albergo e quella degli autobus a 150 metri. Unico neo, se così si può chiamare, è il check-in che è piuttosto lungo; non mi era mai capitato di attendere tanto per la registrazione. Un albergo che posso sicuramente consigliare.
