Likes: The staff was excellent and very friendly. The grounds and pool areas were clean and beautiful. The dinners at the restaurants were great, especially the Asian restaurant! Dislikes: The bed was worse than sleeping on the floor. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The lunch options at the sports bar looked questionable. Staff should inform guests that fraternizing between the two resorts is prohibited. I was there for a wedding and because we didn’t have the "right" arm band we couldn't hang out with our friends that stayed at the Palace.

This property was simply amazing . I booked a trip for my family to stay for a week and I promise nothing could have made this trip better ! The staff were super nice and helpful. It was a good time everyday. I wish I could go back already.

Checked someone else into my room at 10PM while my granddaughters are asleep. At 10PM a complete stranger opened the door to my room and walked in. My 12 and 13 yr old granddaughters were asleep in there. Thankfully, their mom was in there with them and awake.

The property is old and needs a full upgrade & more English or bilingual staff. The rooms are not cleaned well; bedding was not changed daily. I saw a staff spit on the floor. ….just nasty. The place gives you a dirty feeling.

Amazing hotel. Very friendly staff, the food was great, the views are amazing, the beach was clean and although the rooms are somewhat outdated, it was still an amazing time.

Beautiful resort, friendly staff and many food choices and lots of entertainment. We were disappointed with the resort that didn’t honor the resort credit we had with our booking package and were promised a reimbursement but did not happen.

The property is large and about 50 minutes from the airport in the middle of nowhere. The food options are great!! Reservations are not required for the restaurants but you have to get there at least 15 minutes before they open if you want to get a table. The selection of food at the buffet and the different restaurant are excellent. The people and service are are also excellent. The only con to this property is the beach. It is not very clean and we witnessed one of the souvenir vendors deal cocane and a couple from the resort snorting the cocane right there. It didn't feel very secure. The pools, bars, atmosphere, and the nightly entertainment are all excellent

The resort needs to be updated. The most pleasant staff member was the head cook at Tucson restaurant. He accommodated my friends and I after being turned down constantly at every restaurant. So thank you to him! Other than that, I would not be returning to this resort.

Property is beautiful and service is great. The hotel is a little isolated so there’s not much u can do walking distance. Transportation anywhere is expensive. Food was good always variety at buffets but snack area is not good there is not a lot of vegetarian options during this time.

This is a motel 6 with all inclusive dining. Make no doubts about it. This place is not suitable to be a part of the Riu brand. Rooms old, most staff unfriendly, resort is poorly lit at night with limited fans in the common areas. Avoid if possible.

So disappointed with my experience with this hotel. We had a 3 night reservation, and the hotel was so bad that we checked in, experienced the room and one of the restaurants, and decided we didn’t feel comfortable or safe staying there. We actually ended up booking a different hotel and checked out of the hotel 2 hours after checking in. Would NOT recommend it.

The hotel is not for couples, the internet service is terrible, you would lose connection walking from your room to the lobby. The doors still used keys with room # on it. The elevators were old and slow . with a max of 5 people. Overall I stayed at the RIUs before this one was the worse. The staff for the most part was exceptional. the food was decent.

Love the resort, especially the pool areas. Very kid friendly, lots of activities and the walking distance to the beach! Also the staff was very friendly, prompt and great service! It’s an old property and needs minor updates. Some of the outlets in the property needed to be upgraded. As the plugs wouldn’t stay in the outlets, but that’s pretty minor. Another item was that some elderly people might have problems entering the bathtub as the bathtub height getting in and out was kind of a scary. The staff was really great. The drinks were good and the food was excellent.
