El hotel es relativamente pequeño lo que hace que se sienta intimo y en paz. El restaurante es bueno. Lo mejor son las picinas y la vista al mar! A mejorar: el camino que lleva a el hotel.

50 CAD ''special deal'' is a real tourist trap
I found what I thought was a great deal. A room that is usually $126 for just $50 (CAD). Despite a few poor reviews, I decided to book. When we got there, we were told that the room we had booked was on top of their freezer room and that it didn't have a bathroom. The shared bathroom was 150 meters away and was used by all guests using the pool... (dirty and cold water only). We were told that if we wanted a room with a bathroom, we had to pay an extra 33 USD. In other words, the regular price for our room was 126 CAD / night (or 97 USD), but at that price, the room did not include a bathroom! So in order to get a decent room with a bathroom (at the regular price) we would have had to pay a total of 130 USD (97 + 33). And during the last night, there was a storm so huge that we had no choice but to pee in a garbage can. We could have rented a nice room in El Tunco or La Libertad with all the commodities at the same price, near all the action restaurants. We were instead trapped in a place that had all the all the inconvenient of a resort (remote, always same people, ''captive'') without the benefits (luxury, all-inclusive). -Hotel infrastructure is old -A ramp to make sure people don't fall off the stairs leading to our room would have been great. -A/C broke down -We had ants in the room -No private bathroom, dirty -Wi-Fi from our room was terrible -Food was ok, but overpriced

Some smell, by the ocean so you can’t enjoy as much you want because the smell. I’m not sure but probably septic issues. Only cool water on the jacuzzi and the shower. Nice view for sure.

Está propiedad esta muy bonita, realmente está igual que en las fotos, y la vista al mar está increíble desde esta propiedad, el ambiente acogedor El personal es muy amable, te hacen sentir como en casa, todos fueron muy amables, en especial Chitara con su carisma y amabilidad :) Recomiendo este hotel! si me volvería a hospedar ahí y espero sea muy pronto !!!

Property is somewhat hidden, a bit tricky to find. It was very hard to try to communicate with the hotel prior to arrival. Upon arrival, I was sad to find that the main thing that attracted me to this property...the natural pools were not available due to maintenance, they had been drained. The beach area below is only available for access during a certain time of the year due to the tide. The view from the pool out to the ocean is amazing, food from the restaurant was good and staff was friendly. Room was spacious but water kept backing up in the shower.

Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Everyone from the reception desk to dining staff and maintenance…always service with a smile. Room was exceptionally clean and spacious. At night you can hear the waves from the ocean which made for a relaxing night’s rest. On site parking was abundant and safe. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy all the beaches and attractions La Libertad has to offer. Great experience.

The hotel is slowly deteriorating, bathrooms and pool areas could use a little tender love and care but are more than functional. Staff are curteous and the food i did not taste so i cant comment on. Honestly for a $329 a night it’s not worth it but it’s not a bad place to stay.

The location is very nice. However, there were a few things that are not align to the exclusiveness they advertise. 1. Front desk service is poor, we called for technical help with the tv to connect Netflix and they said they would send someone and no one showed up. I headed to the front desk my self to ask again since we kept calling and none would pick up the phone. When I got there, front desk person appear and said they not able to fix the technical problem. 2. Food is very inconsistent in terms of freshness. 3. We are having breakfast and construction is being done as guests are having the meal and all the dust was dropping on our food 4. It was 1am and still construction work was being done. Drill/disk noise,could not sleep Too pricy for that service.

todo estuvo bonito, el servicio de los empleados estuvo bien muy amables, lo unico que no me gusto es que pedi javon para el cuerpo y shampoo dos veces y nunca me lo llevaron y la banera no estaba apropiada mente limpia como deveria de estar, el hotel es caro y uno paga por calidad entonces necesitamos ver esa calidad por la que pagas.

The lady at front desk is not so nice a bit rude I'll say, and then they still ask for another $ 100 at check in, they don't trust anyone, this wrong and it shouldn't be like that. I never been to a hotel that they want a deposit just because.

Beautiful Views
This hotel is located on a cliff above the ocean with beach access. The views are fantastic from the various terraces. Service is top notch and the room clean and comfortable with quiet air conditioner. Within walking distance of El Tunco Beach with a lot of action although you might want to consider taking uber since parking might be difficult.

The hotel had no water for the first day of my stay. Couldn’t use the private hot tub on the patio because there wasn’t enough water in it and it didn’t look like it had been cleaned.

The grounds of the hotel itself was very maintained and clean. The suite was slightly out dated and could use some minor repairs such as, replacing the small window that’s missing in the bathroom, hooks to hang towels and wash cloths. The door to the room could be fixed as there’s a clear gap in it. Jacuzzi water was Luke warm almost cold.Bed was super hard!! If you don’t mind sleeping on an extremely firm bard then this is for you. The food at the restaurant is horrible! Expensive for what you get and half of the meal came out cold. Need to do better if you’re not gonna allow food from outside the hotel.

It was our first time in El Salvador and we loved it here! Our flight landed at 6 AM so we where early for check in and the staff at Hotel Los Farallones was amazing! We got to check out their new outdoor restaurant and the food and service was so amazing! We also got to squeeze in a massage that was one of our highlights. The ocean view was beautiful, we are definitely returning !
