Our stay at VV in Cabo, our first time in Mexico and at an all-inclusive resort, exceeded all expectations. At Latitude, we were treated to outstanding service by Francisco and Susana, whose warm hospitality made us feel truly special. Chef Guadalupe's culinary skills were amazing, making every meal unforgettable. Similarly, our lunch and dinner at Taberna were superb. Arturo, the restaurant manager, provided impeccable service from start to finish, ensuring our dining experience was perfect. We highly recommend both Latitude and Taberna for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience at VV. Our first all-inclusive experience turned out to be a delightful surprise, thanks to the exceptional staff and delicious food!

In short: This resort is not 5 stars! Had it been advertised as a 3 star hotel, I would have given it 5 stars! Pros: - the food quality was good - Pool water was heated and - it had an infinity pool with beach view Cons: - there were only 3 restaurants and one of the was a buffet. - too many things were not included in the “all inclusive” services! While we expected that the prime steak would be extra charge, we didn’t expect refilling the beer in the room would get charged! - the “ocean view” rooms are not ocean view. If you walk out in the balcony and look to your left, then you will see the ocean! Otherwise, the view of your window is the building of the resort!

Property is very nice. The service is great, Cesar who was our server at Patron in the morning did a great job of making sure we knew what was available and made sure we were always topped off. The lazy river is a great feature along with the great service by the pools. Overall we were very happy with the service. Arturo at the reception desk is also at the top of his game. He helped us with a couple of issues that came up.

This resort was beautiful. Not too big, easy to get to the pool, beach, and restaurants . It was difficult to get water. They did not stock water regularly in rooms you had to ask for it at the lobby bar, order room service, and 2 coffee packets in room for a 5 night stay. No more. Had to wait for a “bill” every time you dined in any of the restaurants even though you displayed a ALL INCLUSIVE BRACLet . They would chase you down with a “ bill” even if you entered the Buffett for coffee or a banana to go back to your room. Drinks had little or no booze in them . Food was great though. Rooms were comfortable with a heated toilet seat/ bidet .

Our 5 night stay at La Valencia was generally good, great amenities such as pools, ocean views, and clean rooms. However, we encountered issues with the management's honesty. We were lured into a 90-mi presentation promising discounts on excursions, which turned out to be a lengthy, high-pressure timeshare sales pitch lasting over 3 hrs. Despite initially courteous treatment, the salesperson became pushy when we declined offers, manipulating figures and pressuring us into expensive loans with steep interest rates. After this ordeal, we found the promised discounts to be deceptive, with inflated prices hidden as significant reductions. For ex, we were quoted $1450 for an ATV tour for my husband and I and 3 kids, supposedly discounted to $288 post-presentation, only to discover additional charges totaling $730, including pictures. We also purchased a snorkeling pack through the hotel which led to a disappointing experience on a wild party boat, where our children were the only minors within intoxicated adults twerking under waterfall of tequila and inappropriate music. It lacked snorkeling which was the DEAL sold to us. We dived into murky water, and they baited fish with tortillas. The constant expectation of tips, even for basic services like water by the pool added significant costs to our vacation budget. While it's optional, the pressure felt strong, turning an all-inclusive experience into a situation where we felt obligated to compensate for underpaid staff.

This is not a 5 star resort. Service for meals was very slow. There are issues with the rooms (no working hot shower, knob for fan does not work etc.) There are only 2 restaurants on site but you have to make reservations well in advance of your stay to attend. The buffet options for those who cannot get a reservation is terrible. On one night of the stay, I counted about 8 tables at the Italian restaurant that were empty. When I asked if we could sit down for the meal, they said they "are full". They market themselves as having a lazy river, but that's it. The ratio of guests to available beach chairs and servers is way too high. Every time you want a drink or meal, they make you sign a check and tip. The servers will look at you and ask "are you sure you dont want to give more"? This is not a hotel where I felt relaxed. Unfortunately, management did nothing to rectify the situations encountered. I simply cannot recommend anyone to stay there.

One of the worst experiences at an all inclusive. Each and every item (bottle of water even) needed to have a receipt printed, presented, you have to write your room #, name and sign. For "inventory". Each time we wanted food or drinks - min one hour. Even for a salad. 12 year olds with wristbands denied ANY FOOD OR WATER because they were told they were not allowed to sign. They had to get me, I had to get out of the pool, walk and sign for every morsel of food or drink. 45 min for a towel to the room and pool bins frequently empty. Waited over an hour for coffee to the room (because the coffee packet was just a welcome gift and not replenished) and eas served a pot of hot beige water (like they forgot to brew with grounds). That was it! I called the manager and blew my top - we were all having a miserable.time. AND we had friends that also were staying. They had 2 teens and 2 adults and given One king and one cot. For a week. We had one day the staff was on high alert but my friends said it went downhill supersonic fast after that. Just an awful, awful waste of a beautiful property and waste of our time and money. We have been to many all inclusives around Mexico and thought we'd "treat" ourselves. Ended up with a huge trick.

Villa La Valencia is promoting itself as a 5 star luxury resort but it is not at that level. No welcome drink. The concierge service is not that. We never heard from or saw ours after the first day. I think he was annoyed that we didn’t want to do their “ownership presentation” (Time Share warning). The facility is beautiful and the food is delicious. Most staff are friendly and gracious. The servers around the pool were fabulous, as were the breakfast staff at the buffet. Housekeeping was inconsistent and we received turndown service 5/10 nights. The resort was quite full when we stayed and this created problems. Guests were getting down to the pool before 5:30am to claim chairs around the infinity pool and all pool loungers were taken by 8am. We ordered room service breakfast to be delivered at 7:15am and it arrived almost an hour late. Generally we enjoyed our holiday but the resort is not worth the money. The location and spa were wonderful. If you want a truly first rate experience, go to Grand Velas just up the beach. We have been there twice… incomparable luxury service!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this all inclusive resort. It is very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, although most spoke English, some definitely better than others. Overall the food was really good (especially the breakfast buffet) with the exception of the steakhouse which was average. Had a facial and a massage and really enjoyed the spa experience. Next time, I would tip everyone in cash around the resort. You could charge tipping to your room, but then they give you a terrible exchange rate when you check out, so just bring some cash and tip with dollars! Beautiful quiet section of the beach, but note, this is not a swimming beach as the riptide is way to strong and as well the sand is pretty coarse for walking on. We enjoyed our time lounging by the infinity pool which was beautiful! We also saw lots of whales swimming by so if you have binoculars, bring them! It was the perfect spot to just sit and relax for several days with a beautiful view of the ocean.

Villa La Valencia was gorgeous! The entire property was impeccable, beautiful and remarkably maintained. The service was friendly and efficient, though beware the “concierge” as it is just a way to get you into a time share pitch which will eat up 3-4 hours of your vacation time (this happens at every resort). Our room was amazing, just a double queen but it was spacious, quiet and clean. The beds were wonderful as was the bedding and pillows, everything feels luxurious! We were all inclusive and enjoyed all four restaurants, our favorite was by far the Italian and we ate there three of the 5 nights. Lots of live music, very chill vibe and a lot of fun. This didn’t have a party-vibe like some places in Cabo San Lucas, we are in our 40s and didn’t want base blaring through the night. As a matter of fact, one bachelor party came on our last day and they were a stark contrast to the rest of the guests; loud, obnoxious, belligerent. If I came back I would stay here again. The spa is INCREDIBLE! I had the best massage of my life and then got to enjoy the hydrotherapy room. The gym is immaculate and has brand-new equipment. Marcos was our server at the beach and he was THE BEST! All across an amazing experience, you can’t go wrong here.

The suite was great but we had vip access booking & with 2 babies they put us in a room right on top the Mexican Buffett restaurant so it was loud. Not a party hotel so it was quiet by 10-10:30.

This was my first time going to this property. It was very clean and noticeably a newer property. All of the staff were extremely warm, welcoming, and kind. I got the all-inclusive package which was convenient. This package took a little bit of time to get used as we still needed to sign a check after EVERY transaction for food. There was only one buffet available for breakfast. Lunch had the buffet, poolside restaurant, and the Italian restaurant to choose from. The dinner options were the steakhouse, Italian restaurant, and the buffet. And, room service was available. All the food was great. Like I said, the worst part is having to wait for a bill to come when you really just want to get up and walk off your really full tummies. It would’ve been nice to have Moore walk up bars available but I figured out that if you just hang out around the pool, the waiters will bring you drinks. Again, you have to wait for the bill. I got used to this by constantly telling myself that I am on vacation and there is no hurry. I would tell myself that dinner IS the event, and there was nothing else to do but calm down relax and enjoy. The facilities were beautiful. There were always workers straightening the grounds, and this attention to detail was visible as you walked around the beautifully maintained grounds. In the evening I noticed, they scrubbed down the walkways and around the pools. Again, everything in the resort was very clean. The resort was very quiet, which I like.
