I will dream of this property forever. It has the most magnificent view of San Gimignano and the countryside, and is literally a 5 minute drive into town. It was the perfect escape for our honeymoon this summer. The only thing I wish we had, was more time to enjoy the hotel. The breakfast was super tasty!

Great Location
Excelente localização perto da porta de entrada da muralha de Siena. O dono é muito legal. Recomendo, deixe o carro no hotel, e visite tudo a pé.

Lite för livat för vår smak och tyvärr dålig WI-FI om man vill använda sig av den, men nära till det mesta i området och gångavstånd till San Gimignano. God mat till hyffsade priser, fantastiskt utsikt! Men måste se till att det finns bättre ljus på terrassen om kvällarna på hotellrummet.

Great place outside of San Gimignano
Spent a week at Villa Ducci and enjoyed every minute. Just a quick 5 minute drive to San Gimignano. We headed out early and returned in the afternoon for a swim. The staff was wonderful. Swimming pool great! (3€ each to rent a pool towel(s) for your stay) Restaurant was very good. It serves traditional Tuscan food. We ate dinner 3 times there. Breakfast was in the traditional Europien style, delicious pastries and a nice meat selection. Be aware, if you arrive at the end of the service many items will be gone. But not the coffee! We definitely will come back!

An incredible experience in Tuscany. A beautiful setting with a warm welcome from Elisa and Villa Ducci chef. Excellent menu with great taste and view from the dining room.

Bellissimo hotel, situato su un colle di fronte a San Gimignano. La vista sulla città è stupenda. Dispone di un ottimo ristorante alla carta che cucina piatti tipici toscani. Colazione super. Esperienza bellissima!

Fantastica struttura ben localizzata che gode di un panorama incantevole, gentilezza del personale e pulizia la rendono un posto dove trascorrere piacevoli momenti. Manca solo almeno nella camera dove ho soggiornato 2 gironi un frigo bar, ma per il resto è veramente tutto eccezionale. Da provare la cucina con deliziosi piatti tipici toscani.

October at Villa Ducci.
A room with a view over the hills and vineyards. The staff were all helpful and chatty but I do speak enough italian for a two way conversation and they were good with families of various nationalities. A good base or the walks I had planned and a scenic view of San Gimignano (about a mile away) every morning while I had my breakfast. I did get a bit of road noise with my window open but not with it closed and I could only get CNN on the telly which didn't matter because the weather (Oct) was warm and sunny so I was out and about all day, I even had 3 sessions in the outdoor swimming pool (very refreshing). I did not order any meals other than breakfast and I would certainly stay at Villa Ducci again.

Go for the View
Villa Ducci is 5 minutes from San Gimignano and has beautiful views of it. The staff are wonderful and helpful, we needed to change rooms and this was done with charm. The food was a real surprise, the chef makes brilliant meals, four star cooking in a three star hotel, he's good. Easy parking, pool available though we didn't use it. A very pleasant stay, apart from the ubiquitous mosquitos.

Lovely location, beautiful views of San Gimignano, rooms rather basic. Pool area lovely. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful except a old bald restaurant manager who was miserable and rude. We only ate here one evening because of him, he was bad enough every breakfast!! Never once got our order correct in 7 days. Shame as the hotel had a good vibe, rooms very clean, just needed a upgrade!

Clean hotel with beautiful views of the vineyards. The room and the bathroom are very spacious. The mattress is not adequate but manageable. No grounds to walk or lounge around the hotel, except for the pool area. Staff is not too friendly. Regrettable dinner in the hotel. Close to town, walking on the road is a bit dengerous.

Fantastic view from Villa Ducci
Villa Ducci has some of the best views in Tuscany! You can see San Gim and the amazing countryside! Great breakfast on the terrace and the staff treat you like family!

Relax a due passi da San Gimignano
Abbiamo soggiornato presso la struttura per un weekend di Maggio 2017. La camera era spaziosa e pulita. Ci è stata fornita una culla perfetta per la nostra bimba (6 mesi). Il personale dell'hotel è stato gentilissimo e disponibile nell'aiutarci a preparare i pasti per la nostra bimba. La posizione dell'hotel è strategica per chi vuol visitare San Gimignano, ma rimanere un po' isolato nel mezzo delle splendide colline.

Bellissimo hotel con personale gentile e disponibile ed una vista panoramica mozzafiato su San Gimignano e dintorni! Colazione a buffet variegata con terrazza panoramica in posizione rialzata ed esposta al sole. Comodo l'ampio parcheggio! Ci siamo trovati bene e se dovessimo tornare ad alloggiare a San Gimignano torneremo sicuramente in questa struttura.

Tuscan villa in beautiful surroundings
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel. It is 20 minutes walk to the town of San Gemignano. Friendly staff and nice views to the village from the dining area. Also a pool in a pretty setting.

Mooi schoon hotel, met prachtig uitzicht.
Mijn vriend en ik verbleven 8 dagen in Hotel Dulci. De kamers waren erg schoon en werd goed bijgehouden. Het hotel had een prachtig uitzicht over het Toscaanse landschap waar we tijdens ons ontbijt heerlijk van hebben kunnen genieten. De meeste van het personeel waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Naast onze goeie ervaring met Villa Dulci hebben we nog een aantal verbeterpunten. We hebben namelijk een tweepersoonsbed geboekt maar achteraf bleek dat het tweepersoonsbed bestond uit twee 1 persoons matrassen waardoor er een gleuf ontstaat in het bed. De matrassen waren daarnaast oud en doorgezakt. Ontbijt was vrij summier en er was niet zoveel keus. De meeste broodjes en cakjes waren vrij droog. Op het laatst moesten we city tax betalen van 20 euro, de receptioniste vroeg of we dit in cash konden betalen, dit kon niet omdat wij dit niet bij ons hadden. De receptioniste reageerde er vrij bot op en heeft mijn vriend daarna compleet genegeerd. Dit was naar onze mening niet erg beleefd en klantvriendelijk. Echter de minpunten wegen niet af tegen de pluspunten en hebben wij verder een fijn verblijf gehad in Villa Dulci.

Charming villa overlooking San Gimignano
I was very happy with our stay at Villa Ducci. The view of San Gimignano at breakfast alone was breathtaking. There's a lovely little garden to stroll around and enjoy the view. Unfortunately, it was too late in the year to enjoy the pool, but the view from the pool deck is also stunning. The rooms were clean and comfortable, except that the double beds weren't held together in any way, so they tended to slide apart. The bathroom was also nice, with good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast had a nice selection of foods and freshly prepared cappuccino. The front desk stays open until 10pm for check-in, so don't worry about arriving after 8pm. The hotel is built with lots of different levels, so I'm not sure how accessible it would be. I think there were stairs at every entrance and to most of the rooms.

Beautiful setting in mid Tuscany with views over a valley. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good for basic Europe standards. Dinner quality was very average. Free wifi. Will recommend the stay but eat somewhere else.

Ottimo hotel per un soggiorno familiare
Siamo stati ospiti per una sola notte. La camera è confortevole e contiamo di tornarci in un prossimo futuro anche per fare un bagno nella bella piscina. Il panorama (merito della stupenda San Gimignano) è bellissimo. Durante il check out ho avuto occasione di sentire altri giudizi positivi da parte di altri clienti. Le persone con cui ho avuto contatti (check in, colazione, check out) sono state molto gentili. Essendo l'albergo ad alcuni chilometri da San Gimignano è necessario avere a disposizione un automezzo (o amare molto il walking).

We only stayed for one night. The room was clean and adequate. We ate dinner at the restaurant. The food was satisfactory, but not exceptional. The view from our room was amazing! The staff was attentive and very helpful. It was a short drive to the town of San Gimignano. I would recommend this hotel to others who are traveling through the region.

For a break this is a wonderful hotel. staff speak good English and unbelievably friendly, so welcoming and helpful. The views are gob smacking Eat in the Hotel - and drink the House wine - we did every night of our stay You will need a car - we will definately use again and again we take alot of short breaks you will not be dissappointed

A Lovely Place in the Vinyards
This place looks like an old villa (read romantic quaint charm) recently converted into a hotel (read modern fixtures and finishes - often hard to find in the Italian countryside). My boyfriend and I booked one night and ended up staying 2. Here are the pluses... (1) A perfect setting on a hillside outside of San Gimignano. Many of the rooms actually have a view of the towers. And all the rooms seem to have fabulous views of the surrounding vineyards. (2) The reception desk was staffed by the friendly Elisa who speaks English wonderfully and helped us to plan our Tuscan itinerary. She even booked our next accommodations in Cinque Terre. (3) The grounds are gorgeous and include a pool. A few minuses, which were not significant for us... (1) The walls were a little thin, but good thing for us, the other guests were mellow and respectfully quiet. We rarely saw other people accept at meal times. (2) The restaurant within the hotel is convenient but uninspired. It offered a nice alternative to going into town after a full day of driving. The good far outweighs the few minor flaws. I would love to plan an event here - it's that lovely. Can't wait to be back.
