We have stayed in other days inn hotels, so we know the quality of this kind of hotels, but this one is really disapointing! The toilet of our room didn't work well, we had to filed by our owns to flush it. The hairdryer didn't work either.. Rooms need a remodelation!

Les + : I did not like anything
Les - : Everything this place needs to be bull dozed
Situation : In the bad part of town
Gross! OLD! Inch thick of mold in the bathroom smells like cat pee spiders and bugs fan doesn't work ceiling caving in. Needs to be inspected someone is going to get sick. Probably bed bugs! I walked in and 5 minutes later walked out who in there right mind would stay here! No way I would stay with my son there! This place needs to be shut down! Seriously a huge dump. I am so disappointed they would only refund me 2/3 days when is didn't even stay there. Staff does not speak English went off on me when I wanted my money back!

Last minute travel

I thought finding a hotel near the ATT center would be ideal to go watch the games during March Madness. Here's the thing i needed somewhere to sleep so i figured okay I will do the Days Inn. I got in 2 hour prior to check-In (3PM) they wanted to charge me an addition 30$...but i paid 70$ for the night how does 2 hour equate nearly half a days' stay. So i waited in the lobby because as dingy as the hotel was i wasn't giving them another dime. after an hour they gave me the key card and I walk around God's back to get to my room. Hey at least i had a King size bed and that about the only good thing going...well the room was spacious as well. So another issue, why did it take on average 20 minutes for a taxi to show up (rent a car if or drive your car if you are going to stay here) only to be told drivers don't really like the route my hotel is on. Now i said to myself well the center is a 20 minute walk from here so after the game i'll walk back to the hotel. NO - the employee of the center STRONGLY discouraged me to walk East on Houston given the neighborhood ( I thought it was because of construction) but they said i was most likely going to get mugged. All in all i would not recommend nor stay at this hotel and given the proximity (to the center) I should have stayed downtown. RECAP: if you need to stay on budget and need to stay here: have your own transportation; bring your towel is you don't like sandpaper and some lysol/air freshner and you'll do fine motel style!

It was there...

Good location. Staff just there. Not friendly at all. Room rather odiferous. No "Do Not Disturb" sign. Pizza fliers slid in every night. Noisy. TV antiquated.

Just okay.

Les + : The staff was nice and location to downtown area.
Les - : The room in general. Beds, pillows, shower, lights, WiFi,cable, mini frig.
Situation : Everything is a drive away some short drives other time long drive. There was also construction going on.
The staff nice. The room was okay. I would suggest to stay there just one night. Beds sunk in, the shower drained slowly, WiFi was not up to par with the amount of guest, TV not to many channels, mini frig had a died bug in it. We cleaned it out ourselves. The description read two queen beds, we had two full size mattress on a queen base. The mattress would slide off the base. We were excited to go home. If I have to spend another week in the area I will go for more higher end.

Spend a few extra bucks and go elsewhere

This is one of the "weekly rate" style motels where locals without permanent residence live. One family didnt pay for spring break week in advance and they had to leave. I was in the lobby when it all went down. Staff was yelling at the family and family yelling back. It got crazy and very unprofessional. Breakfast is ok but never a clean table to eat at. Room very grungy and smelled. Light for bathroom didnt work unless you jiggle the switch and bang on the wall at the same time. Disaster!
