For the price, hotel what fine. Did not have clean towels or beds made when we returned to hotel in evening...hotel clerk was not helpful when I asked for some clean towels. She was rude and acted like it was my fault. Other than that, it was fine.

terrible hotel

Publié le 20 sept. 2014
This was a terrible hotel. They had our room as a double queen when I had booked it as a king room. We get to the room and it smells like smoke and the tv is on like someone was in the room minutes before. I call the hotel staff up front and they just said oh it was probably the house keeper. Over all I did not like the experience the hotel was nothing what it looked like in the pictures.

Les + : The pool area and grounds surrounding it are nice and inviting, they had had a lot of rain and where having to treat the pool often.
Les - : I think that someone from Days Inn corporate office should visit this location. It really tarnishes the reputation of Days Inns everywhere.
Situation : No restaurants or activities nearby.I already knew this but figured it accounted for the rate. We discovered Bill Millers Laguna Madre It was awesome!
Some of the room have been taken care of and some have not. We reserved 3 rooms- 1 for a full week and 2 for family that was arriving in the middle of the week. The room we got for a whole week was in good condition. The rooms that our family got were horrendous-towel racks falling of the wall the decor looked as if it had been just thrown in the rooms, bedding was torn. Those rooms looked like something that would be rented by the hour. The rate per hour for early check in was ridiculous, its not like they were full and had to have staff quickly clean a room for availability. Pet friendly -no way, they charge more per day for a pet than what I paid for the daily rate for the room. I had to walk to the office for ice the ice machine never had any in it. This is not usually a bid deal but the office is not attached to the motel sits a good distance away. The cleaning staff was very friendly - the only plus!!!!

Poolside comfort

Publié le 8 sept. 2014
The staff was very helpful and the poolside rooms were nicer.the first night we were put into rooms where the carpet had been shampooed and the furniture had been left on top of the beds...not something I had ever walked into after 12 he of driving...we didn't complain though we just moved it ourselves and we're grateful for a place to sleep.

Poor

Didn't have anything plugged in. The toilet was unflushed when we arrived to our room. The refrigerator didn't work very well. Overall, not pleased. Will not be staying there again.

The doors were not properly secured. There was a piece of the frame of the bed sticking out. My child would have cut himself with it. The a/c unit was not working properly. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was to noisy. I checked in and checked out as soon as possible. I would never come back to this place. I was going to stay and rest and decided to drive home instead.

Les + : Buss/downtown access
I was in San Antonio for a convention. Construction at 410/Houston Street makes accessibility difficult. There is a downtown bus that stops in front of the hotel, so that's convenient.

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS HOTEL!!!!

Publié le 7 août 2014
Les + : Nothing
Les - : Talk to housekeeping management so they will make sure the maids restock everything in the rooms; put Internet you can actually connect to
Situation : It was 15 min away from Alamo
We travel a lot but we think this was the worst hotel in the US we ever stayed at. First, when we were checking in, somebody called about maintanance problem. And another guy came and said his toilet doesn't flush. And a girl came and said bed sheets were dirty. All that in just 5 min. And they have some weird rules - early check-in/late check-out 15$ an hour. We came into our room. The headboard fell off. There is wireless Internet but it won't connect. Unfortunately, we stayed 2 nights at that hotel. The maid did clean. But she took the towels we used and didn't put the other towels. The coffee station and toilet paper were not restocked. I called the front desk and they told me I have to come to front desk to get all this. I said this is not my job and in 20 min they did send somebody over. Don't stay at this hotel, you will be terribly disappointed.

The shower is where I like to start unwinding when I'm calling it a night. The shower head was terrible It felt like I someone was pouring a water bottle over my head the water pressure was not good n the amount of water coming out was equally as bad.i should have known better when the guy infront of me was complaining about his clogged toilet.
