Excellent location for walking to the old town. Every member of staff were welcoming and helpful and all seemed very happy. We had a family room which was very spacious. The hotel was extremely clean and the breakfast was wonderful. Our only dislike which of course is a personal preference was we found the beds to be very hard. But would still highly recommend this hotel.

However, all our rooms are equipped with modern conveniences like air conditioning, soundproofed windows, a minibar, free wifi, free tea and coffee making facilities and more. This hotel is housed in an old palace. Our room was full of light, as we were on a southwest corner. It’s a short walk to the bridge into the old town, and is across the street from Mirabel Gardens; don’t miss the Dwarf garden! The breakfast was lovely and rooms were comfortable.

Our four-night stay at this hotel was wonderful. We had a large, comfortable, and quiet room, which suited our needs perfectly. We were able to walk to all places we sought to explore in Salzburg, and there were plenty of satisfying restaurants nearby. The staff was consistently pleasant and helpful, and the morning breakfast had a great deal of variety, with plenty of flavorful options. We wanted to highlight Sima, the impressively energetic, attentive, and always positive hostess for the breakfast. She provided us with an upbeat mood at the start of each of our (unfortunately) rainy days in Salzburg. We would be thrilled to stay here again if and when we return to this lovely city.

The ladies at the front desk are amazing, they booked an excellent dinner for us on New years Eve and we're extremely helpful for our entire stay. Took the time to explain everything to us. They are a real credit to the hotel
