Our housekeeping staff work hard to provide our guests with rooms that are not only clean, but are also comfortable, in a way that makes you feel at home. Our staff carefully makes sure each room is spotless, and we inspect them meticulously to make sure you feel welcome, and well provided for, during your stay. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. As you reported this was an issue that was not clearly visible to us, or even to you when you initially checked in. As your stay continued, and you found that there was an issue with the room after a period of time had went by, we could have easily assisted you with a possible room change. Thank you for reviewing our hotel, however it appears as if you might have our hotel confused with another hotel you stayed at. Our hotel has NO basement. There are only two floors. Our hot tub and pool are open 8am - 10pm everyday and have not been closed during those hours for the past year. Our town of Salida is a safe and friendly place, and seldom do we have anyone "hanging out" in the parking lot. I hope that when you realize that this review was made in error, that you come stay with us again and remember how lovely our town and our hotel are.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay.Our breakfast is indeed a perfect way to start out the day while you are visiting Salida. Featuring our "BREAKFAST BURRITO BAR" with scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, green chili, tortillas and cheese, its a hearty breakfast sure to please. I love encouraging all of our guests to join us for our all-you-can-eat meal, we complimentary offer at our hotel. I have passed along your review to our cooks. Every time we get valuable responses like this, it really makes their day to hear it! We look forward to providing you with wonderful accommodations and experiences each time you are in town.

Since then, they have dedicated themselves to improving our hotel and upgrading it, step by step. With recent upgrades of large flatscreen televisions and new lobby furnishings, they are insuring that our hotel stays modern and functional well into all your future stays.
