My 6 ft 4 sons found the low bedroom ceilings challenging. However we were aware of this before we rented the property. Would not hesitate to recommend for a peaceful retreat. « Das Cottage liegt mitten in einem Naturschutzgebiet an den Klippen und hat einen hübschen Garten mit Grillplatz und Sitzecke Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, natürlich handelt es sich um ein sehr altes Haus und keinen Neubau. Die Wandermöglichkeiten sind super und in der Umgebung gibt es wenige Minuten mit dem Auto gute Gastronomie. Zu beachten: zum Kanal hin steht in der Nähe eine Radarstation, die leichte Geräusche verursacht, das hört man aber nur außerhalb des Hauses. Uns hat es nicht gestört....

« Angefangen von der herzlichen Begrüßung durch die Gastgeber bis zur warmherzigen Verabschiedung haben wir in dem wunderbaren englischen Cottage eine tolle Urlaubswoche genossen. Es liegt ganz ruhig in einer englischen Bilderbuchlandschaft. Von der Unterkunft aus sind viele interessante Ausflugsziele in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Auch der nächste Bahnhof ist nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Wir kommen gern wieder. »

« This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep. »
