Très bel acceuil. Nos hôtes étaient charmants. Hôtel bien situé. Le bain minéral est un extra. Le lit était très inconfortable. Les installations sanitaires sont très vieilles.

un excellent rapport qualité prix
en plus ces chambres grandes et confortables - coin cuisine bien pratique - il faut mentionner la piscine à 38°, et les bains chauds (souffre) à un peu plus de 40°. Super agréable !!

The staff were lovely, they sent a text early to say we could check in, they were very friendly on arrival. rooms were very clean and nicely decorated.

Location is great, couple minutes walk to lake and EAT street, tho food there is excellent. We booked the family room, the only one left, room is spacious, has 4 beds. But the bathroom is tiny. Family room provides full kitchen, including microwave and ovens. $8 for self laundry. Front office has free laundry detergent.

Friendly place
Great stay. I arrived late and the key was in a noticeable place. Great property with the friendliest people - both in front office and housekeeping. I stayed in two different rooms. Unfortunately, I found random black hairs in both of them when I first arrived. Wifi is fantastic - and that was crucial for my stay, as an entrepreneur.

We enjoyed our stay but it was a typical motel. What was good was the location, and the separate bedroom for the kids. We didn’t use the pool or hot tubs. No issues with the service or facilities. However, it’s not a new place and there was a broken blind which let the sun in early in the morning. It’s also in Rotorua so you do get the smell… sthg we didn’t think of when we booked in the area. It was mostly ok but sometimes quite overpowering. Still, a good base for looking around the area.

The staff are amazing! They know Rotarua realky well and all of the best places to see and adventurous things to do. They were really helpful at rearranging our white water rafting before the river closed.

Great staff! Great location!
Wonderful place to stay in Rotorua. Let me start with the staff: so incredibly friendly and helpful. They get your day off to a great start with their enthusiasm. Location is a few minute walk from town and plenty of cafes and restaurants. As an added bonus, they even have mineral pools on-site (which I have to admit I didn't try, but where do you find a hotel like that).

Had an amazing stay, will be coming back again. Great room, staff so friendly and helpful, love that it's eco friendly and centrally located to restaurants, city centre, waterfront and Government Gardens.

Friendly service in well located family motel close to restaurants & gardens. Good facilities. Mineral pools on site were not so appealing but outdoor heated pool was excellent.

Fantastic facilities, close to town. Private spa and pool were great for the kids. Close to town with an easy walk to eat street. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful although the unit wasn’t serviced in the morning (we stayed two night). However everything with neat and tidy with everything we needed in the unit.

Wonderful young staff who know the guests by name! Older style motel that’s been redecorated tastefully and is thoroughly clean. Friendly cleaning staff! Everything you could want including heated outdoor pool and 2 indoor plunge pools. Right by the lake and easy walking to restaurants etc. We will definitely be using Aura again - an awesome find!!
