Très bon séjour à Gaillardet Garden
Charmante petite exploitation agricole en pleine nature, les propriétaires Anni et Gary sont très accueillant. Le confort est simple mais suffisant, le gîte décoré avec gout, la piscine au top. La chienne popi est très caline

Un havre de tranquillité et de détente
We've had a lovely stay! The kitchen has all the appliances,the bedrooms are really comfortable and it's lovely to have lunch in the private garden.The pool is behind amazing, very protected from the wind and so big:you can have a proper swim! We've been made feel welcome and would definitely be back. C'est la situation idéale pour aller visiter les châteaux cathares ,les marchés et l'architecture des villages audois et ariégeois ,se rendre en Andorre ou se promener dans les forêts des alentours... Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous en remercions nos très agréables hôtes . Valentine et Mark, Michèle et Pierre.

Good relaxing time .... and a great host!
Firstly Anni is an excellent host. Great communications throughout with plenty of ideas and local information.... and more when you meet her! We had a couple of minor issues whilst staying there, but once again she was fantastic and sorted them out quickly! The Gite is what I would describe as typical for the area. Quite dark inside, but lots of character. Clean on arrival and had all we needed. Pool was well used by us, better on hot days.... bit nippy on moderate days! All in all a good relaxing time in the country.

Lovely
We had a lovely stay at the gite and got a warm welcome by Anni. We loved the quiet surroundings, the pool and the garden and of course the dogs, Bess and Poppy! And lots to see and do in this region. One small thing that might be good to improve: a table and comfortable chairs in the garden in stead of the picknick bench! Thanks Anni & Gary

Great place in interesting area
We had a wonderful holiday. The pool is amazing, the region is very interesting for sight seeing as well as for sports activities. Anni and Gary made us feel very welcome. Thanks for great 3 weeks!

Wonderful stay near the Pyrenees
We had a wonderful time staying in Rivel. The house was perfect for our family of five and very well equipped. Anni and Gary were very helpful at advising on local restaurants. There is much to do and see in the area and many castles to visit. Carcassonne is a must and only about an hour away. Mirepoix is a beautiful bastide town. Nearby Chalabre has a lovely bakery and a good restaurant at the hotel. There is also a nice restaurant nearby in Rivel run by a lovely couple. Our daughters really had a lot of fun playing in the beautiful pool and feeding the pigs and chickens with Gary. The dogs are really friendly and great with children. There are plenty of toys in the house and some for the pool as well. If you want to visit this beautiful part of France then we would really recommend this property. Thanks again Anni and Gary for some lovely memories!

Einsames Bauernhaus in schöner Lage mit einem sehr schönen Pool
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Hof liegt sehr einsam in einer sehr schönen Umgebung. Es ist sehr ruhig, man hört eigentlich nur gelegentlich die grasenden Kühe. Der Pool ist groß und sehr schön gelegen mit herrlichem Blick über das Tal. Der Garten ist sehr schön gestaltet. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, allerdings für Regentage etwas dunkel. Es gibt noch 2 Schweine und 2 sehr liebe und kuschelige Hunde. Wir konnten uns ausgiebig an den Himbeeren bedienen. Für alle, die einen ruhigen Erholungsurlaub wollen, ist das Quartier zu empfehlen.

Prachtige locatie en zeer vriendelijke eigenaars.
Wij verbleven hier met 5 personen en een peutertje van bijna 2 jaar in Juli 2018. We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad. Het huis is praktisch ingericht met verschillende slaapkamers en badkamers. De tuin is prachtig ingericht met een verfrissend zwembad waar we elke dag gebruikt van maakten. Er zijn heel veel mogelijkheden in de buurt. Zo bezochten we een ondergrondse rivier in de buurt van Foix, bezochten we Carcasonne, wandelden we naar de top van een van de nabije bergen, enz. We maakten op een van de avonden tijdens de week gebruik van het 4-gangendiner dat Anni voorstelde. We kozen allemaal voor de locale specialiteit: Cassoulet. Dit was heerlijk. Dit is zeker een aanrader.

Relaxed, child-friendly gite with great pool and welcoming hosts. Ideal for big families.
Lovely place - comfortable, spacious and well equipped while being laid back and unfussy. Great for kids - big attic bedroom, paddling pool as well as the brilliant big pool. Kitchen has everything for making the most of great local produce, plenty of space to eat indoors and out. Anni and Gary went out of their way to make sure we had a great time - kids loved the calm and friendly dogs too.
