Tu he inside of the hotel really need to be renovated. The bedroom and bathroom was very outdated, everything needs to be updated. Bed was confortable. Breakfast terrible. We stayed there because of its location and reasonable price.

I liked the location of the property and the staff. One thing I found odd though was the video in the lobby of the rooms. It looked NOTHING like our room.

My husband and I come into town every year about the same time but each year we are less and less impressed with this hotel. It’s very average quality, the staff is average, amenities are below average. This was probably our last year staying

Loved our stay at the Berkeley Hotel - it's in a great spot (dining options all around), close to venues, super friendly staff, clean and updated rooms. The onsite restaurant was really good too! Will definitely stay again when we're in town. A Thank you to Starlett and staff! :)

Very much in need of updating. Restaurant was not good. Friendly staff and like that valet parking was offered. Very walkable. For $200/night would stay somewhere else that is more updated next time.

Customer service was above and beyond. The room was slightly dated but very comfortable and all we needed for one night. The cleanliness of the bathroom was about a 8/10, found some hair here and there but that’s fine. Great place overall!

In desparate need of updates. From horrible old shower head to broken toilet seat and just really old furniture to the cranky person that checked us in.

Absolutely amazing experience! Hands down the nicest hotel and room I’ve stayed in. Front desk was very friendly, polite and a joy to speak with. The room was impeccable and newly renovated. We loved everything about it! Alfreda was a joy to work with and Valet was great too. The beds are extremely comfortable and so are the sheets, pillows, comforter and the robes! The bathroom and stand-in shower was perfect and exactly what we needed. 10/10 highly recommend! Will certainly be returning!

The area was quite nice. There was a water glass on a table by the elevator that was there for at least two days. Poor service in the restaurant, I would not recommend it to anyone.

With its intimate lobby and old-world vibe, the hotel offers a pleasant contrast to the very corporate Omni across the way. Staff were courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable: nice quality bed linens, similar, oversized towels, a good-sized bathroom, and a shower with plenty of water. Spotlessly clean and quiet. The only real drawback is parking, which is limited to valet. We used a parking garage nearby. Will be back, and will try the restaurant next time!

Great location in historic Shockoe Slip across from the Tobacco Company. Very walkable, city seems clean, but as most cities recovering from the effects of the pandemic. Richmond's style still shines through!

This is my favorite hotel in downtown Richmond. It's close to the Capitol, shops, and restaurants. Classic decor and stylish rooms. Customer service was fantastic!

We stayed there for 4 nights. It was walkable to several different eating establishments with a restaurant that was there at the hotel, but wasn’t owned by the hotel. The beds were comfortable, room was clean. Nothing was outstanding. It adequately met our needs for our vacation.

The Berkeley Hotel is a beautiful Boutique hotel. The staff has superb from Front Desk to the new Restaurant. The Front Desk help us with our reservation that Expedia wouldn’t do. They made our check in easy and simple. They were at a full house capacity. I have worked in a hotel for 20 yrs. and they made each guest feel comfortable like we were their neighbors. Valet agents were helpful with directions, help with 3 women’s cart of luggage up to our room (a lot), they were always smiling! The new Restaurant in the hotel, that open up 5 weeks before our check-in was the best food I have ever eaten!

We loved the text check-ins! We were able to ask questions and get our car right away, all with a simple text! Everyone seemed so personable and nice! Loved our room too!

The staff were as friendly and helpful as you can get. Arrived late and starving, but they opened the kitchen and fed us! I had left my phone charger somewhere and they gave me one! Chris, bartender and server extraordinaire recommended some tasty choices that arrived promptly and at a reasonable price. Our room was spacious, quiet.and affordable. Safe, walkable area. If you are currently staying somewhere else, do try out the restaurant.
