Little stay
Nicely remodeled hotel by Wyndham a lot better than the Ladysmith hotel. It used to be like the extras 24 seven coffee, milk, orange juice, apple juice.

We were there for a swim meet and came a day early so we could enjoy the hot tub and the kids could swim and both were closed and we had no notification.

As there is no gym facility, we planned on swimming for exercise during our one week stay. The pool was closed. Management said they would give us a refund to compensate us for the inconvenience. We won’t know if they did until we get our credit card statement.

Thank you for your feedback. We are in the process of getting a new HVAC system installed in our pool area and this requires that the boiler system that controls the water temperature and the room temperature be shut down. It's a big undertaking and there was the delay in finding someone who was able to complete it. We have posted notice that our pool is down for repair. As the manager I have not told anyone that there would be any refunds issued, but we did lower our rates for the time being as the pool is down. We apologize for any inconvenience and are working diligently to get it back up and going.

Though lovely and comfortable, we again had troble using our phones. Also your phones. We kept getting "no connection" until we left.

I have to tell you, after working so long today, I was really looking forward to taking a dip in the pool. However, upon arrival, I was greeted by a notice taped to the front door that the pool and hot tub were closed until further notice. The television also freezes frequently, the Wifi is not secure, and the wireless signal strength is very weak anyway.

We are currently working on getting a new HVAC system installed and it has been quite the undertaking in both finding someone to do the project and getting all of the pieces needed for the overhaul. During the time that you were staying is when we were switching over our TV providers due to issues and now have a new system with a different provider.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. Normal wear and rare does happen and when issues arise we are replacing items. We did offer to switch your room but you refused to move and said you would be fine for the night. After telling us in the morning that the tub would not drain we looked at it after you checked out. There is a tub stopper in all of the bath tubs and guests need to make sure the stopper is not engaged unless they want it. With a push of the stopper the water drained and we ran the water for several minutes without an issue. We were sorry we were not able to help you with wanting one of the comforters and hope you were able to find something similar. Thank you for your feedback.

Was easy to fine and check in could be a little better. There never was anyone out in front. You had to call them on a phone on the check-in counter.

Due to staffing shortages, front desk staff are often helping out cleaning rooms or folding laundry in the laundry room behind the counter. By utilizing the phone system to contact the staff, we are able to make sure other tasks are getting completed to better serve our guests.

The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, the room was squeaky clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. The only thing not up to par was the poor condition of the parking lot.

The check in experience was not good. The gentleman had great difficulty checking us in. Had to call a manager to bypass something and still had difficulty checking us in. Overall that was a bad experience. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and this was the most difficult experience we had

People who have trouble with stairs may find the lack of elevator to be an inconvenience. I thought the accommodations had small-town charm. There were people grilling outside when I arrived. Air conditioning worked well. Good shower. Plenty of space. Bed was comfortable.

Very well taken care of was in the middle of redoing the sidewalks wish they had parking on both sides of the building. And a better selection when it came to the cable. Other than that the staff was awesome I had rented the room for 2 days but I wasn't really ready to leave yet so was able to rent the same room for an extra night. Pool was great along with the hot tub dog friendly as well. Will be going to stay again the next time I'm in town. Thank you to all the staff members that made my stay awesome.

We stayed a night for business. Odd that there are no elevators to get to 2nd floor. If you have a lot of stuff to carry in - very inconvient. As well as not bringing drinks for the room...They have no pop or vending machine. Breakfast was OK. Basic...Room was nice with Large tub in the corner and bed comfy.

While it is an older building with no elevator, we are recently remodeled and continuously making upgrades to provide the best service we can for our guest. I've stayed at the AmericInn on previous visits to Ladysmith, and it has never been a disappointment. The rooms are spacious and very quiet, despite being along a main highway, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the whole property is clean. Having breakfast included is a very nice bonus - love the breakfast waffles! Overall, just a very nice, comfortable place to stay.

We had a king deluxe room, bed was very comfortable, room was very clean. Only complaint i could come up with is the shower head could be updated. Whirlpool tub was great and very nice hot water.
