Une valeur sûre en plein centre ville
Hôtel bien placé en plein centre ville. Bon état général. Notre chambre, familiale, était grande et calme. Personnel souriant et serviable, et proactif avec le sens du service. Peut-être un point d’amélioration : le petit-déjeuner un peu frugal. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Exceptional service from Jose!!
The hotel was a bit dated in Ok condition. But the service was exceptional, particularly I want to mention Jose Mayta, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and take care of us. Just because of him I will give a 5 star instead of a 3 or 4. Even though they assigned us to a room without the right number of beds, he moved a bed from another room to make things work for us. He also went beyond to provide us with many needed help as our kids were struggling with Altitude sickness. Great overall experience.

It was a very comfortable hotel! Some of the rooms have windows that face the hallway and when people were leaving for expeditions in the early morning it tended to get loud.

As soon as we arrive from Juliaca to the door of the hotel , they were helping us with the bags and from there they make me feel like they were always 3seconds ahead of me in terms of service . Resuming my 16 days stay in Peru , Casa Andina Standard was the best of all for the price I paid !!!

Modern, warm, comfortable, next to train station
Huge room and bed, very comfortable, warm, everything was new, excellent check-in/out, good breakfast from 5:30, so you can get it before the early morning tours. Just 350 meters from the train station, no need to deal with taxis. Very good Wi-Fi.

A decent and convenient place to stay in Puno
We visited Puno so we can go for a day trip to Lake Titikaka. Staying in Casa Andina Standard was convenient for the pick-up and drop-off by the tourist agency that took us for a day tour of the lake and its islands. Hotel was also very convenient to get to the restaurants, shops, and main plazas in Puno. The hotel, by itself, was OK. We had a room with 3 twin beds - very basic (had 3 beds, 3 night stands, one desk and one desk chair). It was clean and more spacious than most other rooms that had two double beds. We liked the fact that it had windows, overlooking the courtyard/school yard, that can open to let the fresh air in (some rooms had windows facing the interior hallway). Beds were comfortable and sheets were nice and crisp. Bathroom was good and clean. Sound isolation was poor (we could hear animals walking on the roof and we could also hear people using other bathrooms, not sure where). Breakfast was OK. Staff was very nice, helpful, and most spoke English. We stayed in the hotel Thursday and Friday night. Friday is a party night in Puno and we could hear music coming from neighboring disco clubs most of the night even with windows closed. Overall, the stay was OK and very convenient for Puno. I would consider staying in this hotel again if I was to visit lake Titikaka again.

Centrally located but quiet.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The people at the front desk spoke English and helped me with reservations and travel to the airport in Juliaca. Breakfast was okay, pretty standard fare, lovely young woman served coffee. I felt safe and well cared for. No problems.
