Es un excelente hotel la atención de este hotel es muy buena desde que llegue me recibió Emilio en recepción y nos hizo el checking rápido y nos explicó todo de la mejor manera llegamos antes de las tres y nos recibieron permitiéndonos utilizar nuestro plan todo incluido enaltezco la atención de ANGEL bartender en el bar patrón excelente atención,lo único que se verdad no nos pareció bien fue la comida deben contratar unos mejores chef por que la comida no es la mejor, pero las bebidas ilimitadas y la atención es excelente y sus instalaciones son muy limpias sus piscinas y la playa son muy bonitas y limpias definitivamente recomiendo este hotel que gran atención y porfavor tomen en cuenta el tema de la comida hay que mejorarla pero es un gran hotel la amabilidad de sus colaboradores es execcional

This is the only hotel I stay at when visiting PV for the last 10 years. I love that it's a lot smaller then most hotels so very open vs towers.

Lovely staff, good food, excellent service. Shout out to Leo on the activities team, excellent Zumba and Aqua aerobics class. Great wait staff, we never had anything but a good experience with them. Rodrigo and Jose were great at the Sports Bar. Best food was at the sports bar. Try the fish tacos! Nice front desk staff as well, thank you Martin for being helpful and checking us out promptly. Too bad they are tearing this resort down. Thanks for a great time!!

The staff and service were fantastic. They even arranged a special birthday dinner for a guest we were traveling with. The resort was clean and the dining options and food were all amazing! The location was close to everything. My only warning, becarful of the staff at the hotel trying to get you in on the time share deal, They are very sneaky about it.

Really loved the time we stayed there. Food was ok for the first couple of days but got better at the end. Staff was really nice and a ver clean place, so it was amazing. So I would say 5* review overall. Only bad review was for the staff on the crepe area. Ladies were not happy to be working and not friendly at all. The rest of the staff was phenomenal. Specially Jesus and Hugo.

Great beachfront property. Staff was very nice and respectful. Performances almost everyday is very good. The all inclusive option was nice since there are not too much street food available around the area in a walking distance. The area is mostly upscale businesses and high rise hotels and resorts and not much local. You have to drive out further for that

I liked the all inclusive. I was not impressed with the food at the Mexican Fiesta. Not on par with what I’ve had before. Took too long to check in. At the Mexican restaurant for dinner, band was so loud we could not talk to each other. Music at the seafood restaurant was much more conducive to eating.

We had a great time at Villa del Palmar as a family of four. The hotel is spotlessly clean, all the staff are hardworking and friendly. We had a plumbing issue in our room and they immediately changed our room. Food was good and there’s a variety. Hotel is located close to downtown and the airport. There are couple malls around it that you can go by walking. Generally it is a quite hotel which we enjoyed. And of course they try to sell you their membership quite aggressively. But you can easily say no. Apparently they will replace this property soon but to be honest I like its old time charm. We also enjoyed the beach (we couldn’t swim due to tide), magical sunsets and diverse wildlife around us. Thank you to Jesus, Michel, Martin and all the other staff.( Special mention to Japanese Restaurant, Crepe-Cafe and housekeeping).

Overall the resort was fantastic. Food was great, everything was extremely well kept. Our family really enjoyed our time here. The only thing we didn’t like was that we had to wait A LOT for everything. Pool service was the fastest option to get food. But everything else was at least 45 minutes to an hour. No open buffet option to eat when you get hungry. You just have to wait and order food. So if you’re ok with a slower pace, this place is great. The staff was friendly as well. So we cannot complain.

Great visit at the resort, the food was great and the nightly themed entertainment was very nice. Beach area is clean, pool area is great for kids as well as the restaurants has amazing food. One thing we didnt like was the 90 minutes time share we had at their sister resort Villa del Palmar Flamingo. The presentation was ok but they wanted us to buy something we wont really own. However the freebies they gave us was nice for listening to the presentation like free massage and bottle of Tequila lol. Overall we had an amazing family holiday.

I’ll start with what I liked. The beach is really nice and big , the Italian restaurant, breakfast buffet , coffee shop and the pool snack area have good food . The rest I did not like and there was no buffet during lunch or dinner. Only for breakfast . So you’re stuck with 3 restaurants or the sports bar. The wait for room service is 2 hrs.I’m aware this property will be going under renovations. However , I would like to address the issues I’ve had during my stay. First of all, there isn’t enough staff and some of them especially the female staff at the dessert coffee bar have lots of attitude.The staff at the breakfast buffet are really nice . I would like to mention two of the gentlemen that were very friendly and helpful. Their names were Augustine and Ougo. And the waiters at the pool area were also nice. Second, this hotel does not take renovations so the line ups for the restaurants are usually long esp for the Italian one. Doesn’t make sense as it makes it more difficult for those with younger children. Third, and this was extremely frustrating. You cannot leave unless you sign the bill , even if you ask for water at the bar or anywhere. It’s a waste of paper and makes the line ups longer . Forth, the exchange rate is different at the front desk from the actual exchange rate place that’s also inside the resort . It’s much higher at the spa, which does not make sense as its inside the same resort. I booked a spa service and they couldn’t explain why it was higher.

This hotel was great! Views to the ocean overlooking the pool. Just paradise. The different restaurants are also a plus! Theirs shopping nearby. Staff was nice and friendly

They misrepresented the property online in a major way. They talk about all the restaurants and activities they have, yet the restaurants were not all open and the ones that were open ran out of items all the time and did not tell you until they brought out the rest of the food to your party. That was a horrible feeling when everyone gets food and you are sitting there with nothing (myself and my 9 year old son felt this MULTIPLE times throughout our stay.) Then the “Theme Dinners” were never there which they said happened as well. If you did not get to the pool by 6:30-7 AM you did not get a seat at all around the pool. The staff there were okay for the most part, but when we brought up the missing food with our orders and yet it was still on our checks that we signed for. When I brought that to their attention their response every time was “It’s okay it is ALL INCLUSIVE!” I’m sorry yes, I did have the AI package but why am I signing for something we never received either way! I have stayed previously at the Cabo location and it was so amazing this is why I chose this place and would not have if I knew this many issues were going to come up!

Great facility with one of the best spots on the beach. Convenient to all amenities and a short trip to the Malecon. Staff are very attentive and do their best to make your stay memorable. Food is decent with a buffet for breakfast, and a la carte for everything else. A quieter property but perfect to relax and unwind.

Overall the property itself is fine. I purchased the all-inclusive option and the service was horrendous! Takes an hour to get a beer. No beer or water in the room. Everything takes way to long and you have to wait around and sign for every single thing. Not the experience I was hoping for. The rooms were next to an allyway that was very loud at night and the trash trucks etc are beeping outside your door around 5 am nonstop.

We loved the beach and the staff were lovely. We would stay again in a heartbeat! Some of the things we didn't like: room advertised didn't look anything like the room we got, I called the front desk a month before our arrival. I asked to have 2 cribs in our room they said they put a note on my file and to remind the front desk when we checked in. I reminded the front desk they said no problem. We never saw a crib, check-in is long because they talk to you about checking out their other resort, our room was on a second floor with no elevator. We have a 1 year old and 2 year old. Hauling the stroller up the stairs was not fun, we were excited for the sushi restaurant however it took 2 hours from the time we ordered to get our food. Other tables that came after us got their food before us. Our two toddlers were going crazy being hungry. Would not recommend that restaurant. The Seafood restaurant by the beach was our favorite and the food was delicious. Surprisingly the Sports bar restaurant and Italian was good too! The store on site was great. It had everything you could need. The only thing is that it was expensive. We did all-inclusive and it was amazing especially having our kids with us it made our trip so much more relaxing not worrying about getting food and cooking. We loved that room service was included too! Overall, it's an amazing place and so many good memories made.
