This was absolutely THE WORST accommodation I have ever booked via Expedia. Immediately upon arrival it became very clear that the information included on the booking page and the actual lodging arrangements were STRIKINGLY different. The room was dirty and infested with spiders and mosquitos. We sprayed our room down with bug repellent each night, including the actual beds. There was no key hole on the door AND the lock was broken. It was also clear that the door had been jimmied in the past as the lock did not flush properly with the door frame. The door to the bathroom was broken (meaning literally splitting in two), there was no safe and the knob to the dresser FELL OFF when we tried to open it. I was traveling with a group of 3 other women and it was extremely unsafe. We literally pinned the chair up against the door knob each night. To make matters worse, one of the beds BROKE on the 3rd day. We contacted the front desk (Sasha) who told us the repair man had left for the day, that she was tired and needed to go home as well. He eventually came back and had to drill holes in the bed frame to avoid the other panels from falling out as well. We inquired about moving rooms, to which Sasha let us know there were no other rooms available. Since this was high time for carnival NO other hotels could accommodate our group. After walking around the premises, it became clear that the other rooms looked much better, however those rented via expedia were subpar to say the least.

Our supervisor, Asha, conducts regular inspections of all rooms to ensure they are in proper condition before guests check-in. We have thoroughly investigated the concerns you raised, and while we acknowledge that there was a minor issue with one of the wooden panels on a bed, it was promptly addressed. Our repair team was called upon immediately and fixed the issue within an hour of receiving the complaint. Regarding the other concerns you mentioned, such as cleanliness, insects, the condition of the door knob, we regret to hear about these issues. However, it is important to note that you did not bring them to our attention during your stay, nor did you report them to our staff, including Asha, who was available to assist you. You did not express any further dissatisfaction or anger during your interaction with our staff. We take pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and addressing any maintenance issues promptly, and we would have been more than happy to address these concerns had we been made aware of them. We value your feedback, as it helps us identify areas for improvement. We have taken note of your comments and will use them to enhance our services and facilities.
