Excellent stay in POM
Good hotel with incredible staff. Prompt to answer to any of your concerns, thanks again Gran Papua Team. Good Wifi, excellent and safe shuttle service, clean room, only small comment is on the hot water: had to wait quite long around 6 AM before it kicks in. All in all worth it in POM.

very nice hotel, kind and helpful personal, good food and drinks, a very professional spa. The room was nice and clean, not ideal if You dont sleep very deep, one can hear every talk, the elevators, every door closing... The neighbourhood is ok, one does not feel very safe when dark. Some nice spots around, like Ela beach. Close to the mall and post office.

The staff were great! We had to wait at the airport a bit for the hotel shuttle, maybe 30-45 min. We didn't complain or make any special requests as a result of this but they upgraded our room! Very nice!

I have stayed he before and some of the staff remembered me. However as always issues with House Keeping. When I got to my room the door was open. Also only Chinese green tea in the room. I had to ask for English Breakfast tea which was provided. The breakfast was OK but bacon was very tough and the avocado was rotten. It should never have been put out. The croissants were stale too. At check out time I was pestered with phone calls and staff knocking at the door at 10:05. I found it irritating and unnecessary as the hotel was half empty. They need to improve.

Buon albergo molto sicuro. Buon ristorante
L’hotel si trova vicino al mare. E’ molto curato, con stanze ben tenute e dotate di angolo cucina con lavello e forno a microonde, frigorifero, piatti e posate. Le stanze sonospaziose ed hanno un’anima bella vista, sia che siano sul davanti che sul dietro. C’è un buon ristorante, anche se un po’ caro. Il migliore affare è andare al 15esimo piano alla executive lounge durante l’happy hour tra le 5 e le 6:30. Pagando le bevande (stesso prezzo che al ristorante) ci sono snack salati gratis e appetitosi. La piscina è molto piccola e praticamente con una sola corsia utilizzabile per nuotare, ma non c”era mai nessuno e quindi non c’è stato problema. Per chi è lì per lavoro, la maggior parte degli uffici è verso il. Entro, e quindi Lam posizione un po’ decentrata può non essere ideale

Convenient place, safe and clean Food quality is average. Sherpards pie on first night of my stay was perhaps the worst pie i have ever had - no taste and flavour plus lamb too hard and full of fat. However food and breakfast was just ok in the restaurant downstairs. Friendly staff and welcoming always. The place needs more work energy and life.

Very average
Stayed in the executive king room, was small and not so luxury, expensive for what you get, had breakfast included in package but hotel tried to charge on checkout, food is expensive and chef can't cook a steak properly had two dinners there and decided to eat elsewhere for the remainder, for an extra 80 Kina per night I would recommend Stanley hotel, much better rooms and hotel facilities, the pool here was small, for a hotel built in 2011 it's run down and the hotel moto is " we didn't invent luxury we redfined it" well big thumbs down on that! However the staff are pleasant and friendly big thumbs up to the staff

Take your money and go somewhere else.
The only thing that's consistent at this hotel is their bad service and inaction to feedback and reports. Be careful with valuables or items you leave in the room, place in the safe and lock the luggages if you don't want to 'misplace or lose' any items. Bathroom smelled murky with cockroaches. Some gym equipment needed repair but had a great view overlooking the beach. Location was walking distance to Ela beach and close to where the APEC building is. Would I stay again? Absolutely not. Go over to the ela beach hotel or the crowne plaza nearby. Money is better spent elsewhere with better service, food and security from the staffs.

The hotel is centrally situated. The room is comfortable with a very nice view of the beach. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is amazing. Opposite the hotel is a small supermarket too. Overall, it's an enjoyable stay and visit.

Best hotel in Moresby.
Absolutely amazing stay. The rooms are clean new and airy. The service was excellent. What separated it apart was I encountered an issue and they resolved it which showed they care about customers. The location is probably the nicest in Moresby with views of the water but not near the airport however free shuttle is included. The restaurant was nice and good food as well.

Guests smoking still a problem
The staff and conditions were great, as always. Some menu items not available at the restaurant, but overall a good selection and cooked to taste and perfection, especially seafood (grilled garlic prawns were delicious, as were the drinks). Had to call manager because I got sick with the tobacco smoke smell.in the bathroom, wasn't even able to use it for a while around 6-7 am. We had to open window and door to air and almost had an asthma attack. Hotel guests next door, below and above were smoking and only got a mild warning. I truly believe that this will not stop until there are consequences in this non-smoking hotel, such as enforcing fees and/or even telling people to leave if they will not comply with the rules. This is not about preferences, but about.a health hazard. Thank you

Have stayed at the hotel before for business. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and good. Breakfast good. The hotel is secure which is needed in POM. The hotel does have a shuttle to and from the airport. My company supplied secure transport to and from the office. A good hotel to stay at in POM

Stayed on the women-only floor.Few hiccups - flight late so shuttle bus had been and gone, couple of maintenance problems in the room quickly fixed. Otherwise top hotel. Staff delightful, warm and friendly.
