« Check in was very easy, I was given a code to a lockbox. I overpacked assuming it would be a little more rustic, turns out it has all the comfort and conveniences of home. Cottage, grounds, and hot tub were clean and inviting. We were there very early spring before the leaves grew on the trees and the view was incredible! There’s a nice hiking trail a mile down the road, and water access directly across the street. This place exceeded my expectations all around! Book it! »

« I had to be in the Ellicotville area for work and we found this cute cabin to stay through VRBO. We couldn't have imagined how amazing this cabin would be. The communication with the owners was easy. Both Madeline and Bette were very helpful and polite. The view from the screened in porch into the state forest is so relaxing. Too soon in the season for docks to be in, it would have been nice to walk out over the water. Enjoyed watching the birds on the lake. Spacious deck, A great time skipping stones on the water. « We stayed for a long weekend to view the Total Solar Eclipse. House was immaculately clean and orderly. Heat worked great! We brought groceries and had everything we needed at the house to make all meals. Loved the dining table in the front room with the wonderful view of the lake. « This little cottage has everything one could need for an enjoyable stay in the Finger Lakes region. It is just minutes from Keuka Lake and from Hammondsport, a picturesque village on the lakeshore. Our host was kind enough to recommend a wonderful restaurant (Timberstone Grill). »

« The house was beautiful; the furniture and general design of the place was exceptional. Nicole, the property manager, was so responsive and thoughtful and helpful. It’s a 2min drive to the lake, but we wound up the lovely pool and hot tub, and cooked in the very well-appointed and well-stocked kitchen. Could not recommend the place more highly. « This was our second stay at the little red cabin and we will stay again if we're in the area & it's available. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The back deck is really nice; private and serene, we would have used it more if the weather was nicer during our stay. The tap water does have a strong iron smell and taste so I recommend bringing bottled water for yourself and your dog if you're bringing one.
