Brining luggage to the room on the 3rd floor without direct elevator to it was challenging. Luckily we only had carry on with us. Also the stairs are a bit of a labyrinth.

What I like about the property is that everyone is nice and friendly. The area is clean. What dont like is the room. It is a little messy including the balcony.

I spent 5 nights at the AZ Grand Resort. Reception was quick and simple; my room was clean and comfortable; the Oasis Water Park was perfect for my afternoons while there. The only food I purchased came from the pool snack bar. It was terrible. I had a very dry hamburger served in a clam shell for $17.

The sitting area in the lobby overlooking the golf course was very relaxing. plenty of seating and food and drinks available. We could have sat there our entire stay.

It is a great resort concept, but it’s not surrounded by much. Road construction around it (April 2024) makes going anywhere somewhat close by a long trip. Not many choices for restaurants, or other things to do, if planning on that. Pickleball, bocce ball, tennis court, etc would be a nice addition. CON: PARKING. Due to the water park being open to anyone, and events hosted at the site, there’s ZERO parking available. Parking should be a priority for paid guests of the hotel. It was a nightmare and made it even worse when we needed to leave. They do utilize golf carts if you need a ride, but personally, I only felt that made it even more congested as they were flying through the parking lot any time you were carefully driving trying to find a spot. PRO: The housekeeping staff was very friendly, and attentive, as well as the person at check-in. Would I stay here again? Yes. Would I make sure I had what I needed so I wouldn’t need to leave? Yes. Would I bring games or something to do on the evenings I want a break from swimming? Yes.

It is a wonderful property .. however im confused about the type of services they give to people. I noticed that there are no smokin signs anywhere on property and i seend alot of people smokin cigars around the property and when i do the same i get told its a kid friendly place and ro put it out even tho it was late at night an no kids were around .. yet people were smoking in the water park area too and noone says nothing.. i feel like they treat certain people differently . Which isnt ok.. if its a no smoking property.. it should be for everyone not for those that play golf in the mist of kids ... and the food was nasty and room service wass expensive for no reason and so was the drinks. Best thing is to leave property. Other than that i had a blast with the spa area and the waterpark.

Won’t stay there again. Recommend avoiding this hotel. I’d stayed at the Arizona Grand years ago and had a good experience. This time was different. I waited over :90 minutes to check in. There was a high school event happening and the hotel was clearly not staffed to check in ~ 3,000 students and chaperones. Also disappointing was the staff’s indifference to the situation to people paying top $ to stay there. Massive saw and construction noise at the lap pool 3 out of 4 days. They were replacing the gate and the noise was awful. Again, no apologies. The posted menu @ the lap pool was outdated and a lot of items were not available. Restaurant food was mediocre for the price. I was unable to unbundle my resort fee from the overall cost which was not clear when I reserved. I didn’t know it was a required charge. I only used the pool areas 1 day but paid for 4. Thumbs down. 👎

We stayed here one night after staying at another property in the area. The room was dirty from the walls to the windows to blk hairs on my pillow and towels, tĥe pario looked like it had a small fire on it. Our bathroom window faced the elevator and no it was not a one way waindow you could totally see in.

The ground of the resort is beautiful and well-kept. The room we stayed in (Mountainside) was more dated than expected. We enjoyed the water park and the athletic club with three teens during our two-day stay.

Very nice place. I particularly like the option of going to the water park, with its large pools and lazy river, or lounging at the smaller pool and hot tub available to each group of units. The smaller pool provided towels, ice, restrooms and water in each area.
