« Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again. »

« We loved our time at the Raleigh Retreat. It was quiet and peaceful and perfect! Our Australian friends were enamored with the countryside of KY ... including the bald eagle that perched right in front of them off of the back porch! Their encounters with the local residents and business owners were all helpful, welcoming, warm ... simply charming. They will have lots of wonderful 'country' experiences to share with their friends upon their return to AUS ... which is one of their goals for this...

« We stayed 5 nights the last week of Oct. The house was wonderful and Cindy made a few changes to our rezy to allow us to enjoy the last of warm weather. The property is on a serious slope in the back and in my opinion, not something to tackle too easily for lake access. We're fishermen and were expecting the water level to be too low to use the dock, but we also didnt know the dock is a good deal away even if we could have. Ended up using the Baileys Point Campground to launch boats each day. 2...

Communication with the host, Sarah, was so easy and she responded immediately to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone with kids of an any age. « We really enjoyed the stay. The house was clean. The couches were very comfortable. It's a cozy cabin. It was perfect for my family and I. It is in a quiet wooded neighborhood. I walked in the neighborhood and it was very peaceful. The roads are very narrow so be careful driving. »

« Our family had a great weekend visiting Mammoth Cave and the cabin was perfect for us! It was very secluded, wooded and peaceful and the outdoor space was as comfortable and cozy as the indoor space. If we ever come back to visit Mammoth Cave, we would definitely stay here again! »

« It is a little far from everything, but worth the drive. Beautiful deck and view. Found house to be stocked with most everything we needed. I did have to call owner to find a light switch and she answered quickly and was very sweet. I recommend this house if you want to get away . If you are looking for night life this is not for you. »
