Beautiful location and charming atmosphere!

My kids and I had a great ski weekend, and really enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub with the waterfall. Hotel staff was excellent and super friendly! I loved the charming and beautiful resort architecture and location.

Outlets didn't work, one bed broken, nightstand drawer broken, could hear people next door, could hear people talking in hallway. No DVD player in room. No complimentary bottled water, no mini bar or mini refrigerator. Wouldn't stay there again & wouldn't recommend it.

Zermatt Hotel

Les + : Mostly everything was satisfactory.
Les - : Restaurant food prices were a little high for breakfast items.
Situation : Heber city was ideally located a few miles down the street with all the comfort business' necessary(walmart, fast food).
Room was beautiful with a great mountain view. Also, had a fireplace that really made it pleasant in the room. Housekeeping did a great job daily. Staff quickly arrived to change out a light bulb and bring a toilet plunger. The clogged toilet was not their fault, LOL. Only complaint was that the pool guy closed the gate that connects the inner pool with the outer pool via tunnel, without telling us. We were in the outside pool/hot tube, in -10 degree weather. So, we had to run along the pool and into a side door to get back into the inside pool area, and my daughter slipped on the icy sidewalk. He could have informed us that he was closing the tunnel. He walked right by us. Otherwise, I have no other complaints. I'm still waiting to check my credit card bill to make sure there were no incorrect charges.

Les - : washer and dryer stackable in a closet would have been nice
the restaurant food was amazing and the service was excellent. best food we've ever had.

Bad experience

Our part of 6 adults and 2 small children were able to check in at 3 PM. We got 2 adjoining rooms. THe key would not work in the adjoining room. THey tried multiple keys and none would work. Maintenance found the door locked from the inside. Once he got the inside lock opened, the room was not cleaned. Took 2 hours and 3 phone calls for the room to get cleaned. The baby bed I had pre-arranged was not in either room. Finally at 7 PM after 3 phone calls we got the baby bed. Nice accommodations but why didn't housekeeping tell management they couldn't get into our room to clean it? Management had no idea what was going on.

First time in Utah

We had a wonderful time despite the extreme cold. The hotel was good, comfortable rooms The only downside was that our last night, our room was cleaned at 9 pm. after we complained. I think they were understaffed. But they were very apologetic and we understood since it was Jan 1st. Great food. Ski rental store at the hotel very convenient., nice staff and helpful. We loved the experience

This was the worst resort I've ever been to. Firstly, we got to the resort early and could not check in till exactly 4:00. While I am checking in, my husband began to unload the car. During his second trip back into the building, the bellhop decides to ask my husband if he needs help. Meanwhile, the front desk clerk does not tell us that we are in another building and that we don't have to unload the car. So right before checking in, we had to load the car back up and drive to parking lot that didn't have enough spots for the number of guests the hotel accommodates. The room is very outdated, actually the whole hotel is outdated. Tube TV's, no mini fridge in room. All of the vending machines were out of water. We had to stop by all the machines just to get 3 over priced bottles of water. There are no microwaves for the guests to use anywhere. I called the front desk to see if I could heat up food for my two year old and they said they didn't have a microwave. Called the restaurant which also said they didn't have a microwave. I went to the front desk and they were very hesitant. The clerk goes through the back office and says, "they took the microwaves out of here." So I simply asked, "so you don't have any microwaves in the whole building?" Then she said,"well okay I will have an employee heat it up in the employee lounge." Wow, just terrible. When we got to our room, there were 6 kids running around, screaming through the halls until 11pm. This is the type of hotel that i

Nice hotel - needs updating.

We had bugs in the room. But overall the hotel is nice. Solid 3 stars. Love love midway and the nature around.
