« Excellent breakfast »

« Very decent place to stay. Nothing extravagant, but the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I stayed here for its close proximity to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, which was just a few minutes walk down the Great Allegheny Passage that passes right in front of the hotel. You can also walk the trail for great views of the Potomac River and other scenery. The pool was on the smaller side and I couldn’t get the hot tub to work, but my husband and I were the only ones using it at the time...

« Very clean and spacious room; quiet even though located in a busy area; professional staff; noted the jacuzzi/hot tub and the pool, but did not use them; breakfast was varied enough and the food tasted fine (I actually really enjoyed the oatmeal they provided). Highly recommend. »

« The free parking (which was excellent) was confusing. In order to obtain a parking dongle, you had to check in but there was no where to park when you were trying to check in. Also, if you didn't return the parking dongle, you were charged $20 but you can't exit the parking garage without the dongle. Therefore, you have to exit the garage and find somewhere to park so you can return the dongle and finish checking out. They need to come up with a better method of enabling parking access. »

« The motel room and carpet needs to be cleaned more and the walls also need painting and the window above the kitchen sink needs new kitchen blinds. The curtains hanging in the front window and the rod that holds the curtains needs repair. The chair in the room and the cabinet that holds a customer’s clothes needs to be replaced with a nicer chair and cabinet. »
