Paradise Island is the best touristy area at the Bahamas, especially the beach side of the Atlantis. The Sunrise Beach Villas are located right there, you can enjoy the wonderful white sandy beach and the ocean. It’s just 20-30 minutes walk on the beach or on the street to get to the Atlantis casino, otherwise the hotel doesn’t accept visitors before about 6pm without admission fees and the valet parking at Atlantis is $20. Sunrise Beach Villas is a better choice, in a townhouse like apartment, with walk out front yard outdoor chairs, table and umbrella to enjoy coffee there, and the pool to cool off in between ocean visits. The timeshare hotel office management is open usually from 8 am to 7 pm and it rents out properties directly as well. The managed properties have towels, soap, shampoo, lotion and complete kitchen with fridge, coffee maker and coffee, tea provided, we could cook, but everything in the convenience stores 2-3 times the price of the US prices. You can order food items online with $10 delivery fees or there’s a Village Market in walking distance. The food bar at the Sunrise Beach Villas has mostly fried meals and beverages. Friday was a very loud and long karaoke night but we enjoyed listening it untul midnight. Other days the music was not that bothersome. The apartment inside is outdated and everything is overly used. The pull out sofa is bumpy, not comfortable for overnight sleeping. Parking is free. No safety concerns in that area.

Great location -- Interiors could use a refresh
The property is located on Paradise Island and has good beach access. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is in great shape. Units have an exterior patio. The interiors appear to be1980's vintage with steel circular staircases to the next floor. There is a restaurant onsite but I don't believe it is owned or managed by Sunrise Beach. The food is ok but the service was slow, even by local standards. The furniture is utilitarian -- but all was in pretty good shape. This is not a "luxury" place to stay, but is it could work for families on a budget.

Lovely Spot
Nice quiet spot on Paradise Island. Loved being near the private beach access and next to the pool. Front office lady was very helpful and her cabbie referral was the best. Thanks for a great stay!

That location was nice especially if you don't have a car people were friendly staff was very helpful my units could have used new carpeting the grounds needs to be updated. Overall my wife and I were happy with the unions and the location.

Nice Villa, great location, no frills
The Sunrise villas were exactly what we were looking for close to Atlantis and right on beautiful Cabbage beach. The one bedroom villa was not really conducive to 4 adults as advertised so we were able to upgrade to a 2 bedroom. The property is nice, well maintained and clean. The unit we rented had some issues with clogged toilets and the washer didnt work. Maintenance came and fixed the toilets right away and the cleaning lady, Fran, was exceptional and very kind. The villa is spacious and homey with everything you would need. It met our needs. The grocery store is on the main island so be prepared for an expensive cab ride. The other negatives were there are no beach chairs so you have to rent them daily. Also the pools are not heated and were freezing during our stay so we didnt use them. No hot tubs either. The restaurant on site is decent for basic needs and the drinks were good, but be prepared to wait a long time for food, service was extremely slow. We enjoyed our stay overall but did have some issues with rude front desk staff on more than one occasssion. Fortunately the other staff made up for those few. Youll find the housekeepers and grounds people to be very kind and helpful. The night security guard went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and to give us advice and guidance on all things around the island. The beach is extraordinary and if you walk to the end of the cove its a great place to snorkle and collect shells. Overall a good place for the $

You mentioned that you had issues with the front desk staff on more than one occasion but this when never mentioned during your discussions with the property manger. When you did make a complaint you said that the staff member on duty was rude to you all week when, in fact, she had not interacted with you since the day she upgraded you to your two-bedroom villa. We have come to realize that when we adhere to company rules and guests don't agree with our stance, we are labeled "rude and inconsiderate." Thanks for your feedback. Have a great day!

Terrific, romantic secret spot
I said I wouldn't give this a review because I don't want anyone else staying there… But it's just not fair… Fantastic… 20 feet away from a pool, and a two-minute walk to the most beautiful water you will ever see… The place at first seems a little dated, and it is but get past it because it is a fantastic day… My partner said it was like sleeping on a cloud… we will definitely be back.

Very nice and clean property as well helpful staff. The one bedroom condo I stayed in was basic, but provided everything I needed at a reasonable cost. I would stay here again.

Great Place to Stay
Overall the resort was excellent. We thought we had a room overlooking the pool but it was facing other rooms. Nice patio/courtyard area though. Loved our beach access! The bed was comfy but sagged a bit in the middle. Nice hot shower with great water pressure. The front desk was very accommodating when our flights changed and we needed a taxi to pick us up later. Great trip!

Very relaxing vacation
The villa was very nice, though as others have noted some aspects are a little outdated. But everything was extremely clean, and the beach location was amazing. Some things that kept me from giving 5 stars: the mattress on the fold out bed has to be at least 2 decades old, and was very uncomfortable; the kitchen needed a can opener; the larger pool area needed more umbrellas/shade; and the kitchen staff seemed overwhelmed on a Tuesday night - it took over an hour for any food to arrive. But the bar had excellent drinks, and there was entertainment almost every night. Location also could not be near — it was an easy walk to Atlantis or the harbor. Would recommend for anyone not needing the fold out and looking for a relaxing vacation.

The carpets are stained and dirty. The kitchen has bugs, and the bathrooms were not cleaned. Frankly, the room needs a new bedroom set. The room looks like hundreds of people slept on the bed and it was never cleaned.

Great place to stay for the price.
Everything as described except the internet would not reach my place. I made suggestions to management on how to fix the problem with a range extender. It really hindered my experience as the TV provided was worse then basic. Lol. Violas was wonderful. Dined and drank there most nights we were there. Place needs some maintenance but otherwise it seemed perfect to me and my family/ friends. Will be staying again in March and may even purchase one of the places there if they ever come up for sale.

Peaceful getaway
The apartment was clean and comfortable. Our front door was steps away from the pool and a short walk to the beach. Violas had good food and drinks and was very reasonable. Would definitely stay again.

Our week in Nassau was wonderful. The beach was clean and right outside the back of the property. There are several vendors so getting drinks and snacks were super easy. The pool is just outside the small patio area. Quite a nice treat after sitting on the beach. The only drawback was the on-site restaurant. Good food but slow service. Definitely not a reason to not book it again though. Thanks

Horrible property management.
I want to preface this review with if you do stay here, choose another listing. We initially booked a room owned by a man named steve who was the nicest, friendliest and most helpful host ive ever spoken to. His property was booked and we ended up booking with the front desk and never stayed. We had a death in the family the day we were supposed to check in and ended up cutting our trip short and flying home. The manager at the front office refused to call me back and only had a conversation with the property manager on-site who basically said I was making it up and they wouldn't refund me. I told them I would be happy to send the death certificate and show them our change of plans but I was never called back. Absolutely terrible service and extremely rude. For a "premiere host" I was appalled at how we were treated in such a crappy situation to begin with. I called to cancel before the reservation was even confirmed and was still pending. Horrible, rude and completely unprofessional people. We would never reccomend this place to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to post this review. Firstly, It was never implied that you were not telling the truth. You were even offered an extension from the date you booked based on company policy. After the extension was offered you then stated that since you weren't able to get the refund you would come and stay at the property for the dates that you had booked. Also, when we had spoken there was no death in the family as yet as we spoke the day prior to your arrival date and not your check-in date as listed in your review. I think people will be able to read the other reviews and make their judgments. In addition, to everything else, you were also issued a complete refund. It has been our experience occasionally that whenever we cannot bend the rules for persons when requested then we are considered "rude & unfriendly." However, all companies have policies & rules & as such they have to be abided by. My condolences on the death in your family. Have a great day!

Lovely property close to the beach and an easy walk to nearby shoppes and restaurants. Violas restaurant on site was one of the best places we ate. The staff was always helpful and the villa was clean and comfortable.

We just came back from Sunrise beach club . Overall it was a good experience. The location is great. The restaurant Viola’s was good and convenient. The front desk was great and very prompt. Because of Covid the rooms are not being cleaned. But everything we asked for was provided. Thank you very much Florence and Chantisse. The property is very old. I can speak for our unit , one bedroom. The stove, the oven, the kitchen are very old and don’t work properly. The bed, the mattress is good. We got a good sleep. Everything is manageable. If I could, I will go again. Thank you very much Sunrise beach club!!!

Sunrise Villas-Paradise Island
Sunrise Villas is located on a beautiful beach and the swimming is excellent. The facility is in average condition and I needed to borrow a mop and cleaning solutions to clean my floor upon arrival. The interior of the unit is functional but dated. Second floor carpet was very worn and stained. My particular unit was about 50 feet from Viola's, a very active bar/restaurant, and certain nights is quite loud until about 10 PM, including amplified karaoke. The property is in walking distance of the Atlantis with much to do, and to the Ocean Club, with an excellent restaurant. I also regularly walked to grocery stores in Nassau - about 20-30 minutes so you can make all your own meals - pretty important because prices are extremely high. Definitely get groceries at the Nassau stores - Paradise Island groceries are 20-30% higher. The staff was very friendly. If you like a lot of action and sound and easy beach access, this works. If you are looking to get away from it all, this would not be the right place.

We provide brooms and dustpans in the units, mops are not issued unless requested as housekeeping normally (prior to Covid-19) provided daily cleaning. We are in the process of updating our units. Beautiful beach. Nice setup with bedroom on second level, full kitchen. Get groceries near airport. Not much on Paradise Island. Eating out?? Violas on the property is the best and most reasonable.

Very nice for an older property
Chantisse the manager that we dealt with is a top notch, friendly, and professional worker who does everything in her power to make your stay comfortable. Viola’s food is excellent and the portions are out of this world.

Cute beach condo
This was a small but big enough condo within walking distance to the beach. Our unit was directly on front of the pool which was super convenient and also next to Violas which is the restaurant on site - with very yummy food. Overall good experience here. Front desk staff, security, and restaurant staff were all very nice. Would stay here again.

Best 10 days at Sunrise Beach Villas
This property is clean, safe, and perfect location for relaxation. The beach is nice for swimming with soft sand, no rocks or shells. The staff is professional and resort well maintained. We stayed in unit 110 and it was more than adequate for the two of us. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen, while could use newer pots, pans, and a good knife, we managed to have breakfasts and most of the meals there. Overall, it was a great experience and we will return.

Great location
Friendly staff and helpful in finding several excursions. Near Atlantis and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Beautiful beach and nice pools. The restaurant Violas is part of the villas and us good food at a reasonable price.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. Our staff is known for their friendly nature. As you stated we are within walking distance of several stores & an ATM machine. We are also located on one of the more beautiful beaches on the island. Violas which is our onsite restaurant is a hidden gem that serves excellent dishes. 5 days after the first payment Vrbo tried to up-sale us saying the property was full when it was not
The condo was dated but comfortable The main issue was VRBO tried to up-sale us by informing us 5 days after the first payment informing us that the property was full and offering a number of other properties that were more expensive. We phoned the Sunrise beach club and they confirmed the booking was on their computer. Would make us think twice before using VRBO again

Beautiful pool and the best beach on the island!
Although the service at the restaurant was mediocre, the receptionist was nice and friendly and helpful. The property interior was so-so but the location could not be beat. You can walk to Atlantis or anywhere on Paradise Island.

Perfect location, well maintained yet reasonable
We had a wonderful stay at Unit 103. Very well maintained and cozy. Perfect for my family of 2 adults and one 8 year old. The swimming pool was a bit small but very clean. Loved to relax in the shades of coconut trees. Cabbage beach is right on the backyard. All the resort staff were very nice and friendly. Violas on the property was reasonable and food was great. Away from the crowded Atlantis but if needed can reach Atlantis by 5 mins walking. We spent our evening by walking inside Atlantis and visiting their aquarium which is free to visit after 5 pm. Will stay here again and I highly recommend this resort.

Sunrise Beach Villas, Paradise Island
We were a little concerned booking our rooms online, just having pictures to look at online. But when we arrived we were extremely pleased with the resort, the rooms were clean the staff were wonderful and the pool was feet from our patio, the ocean was 100 yards from my room, they have a great restaurant/ bar. the prices were extremely fair, I would like to give a shout out to Claudette at the front desk she was extremely accommodating, I have stayed at Atlantis and the Baha Mar and I would choose the Sunrise Beach resort over both of those places.
