« I only have one small complaint about our stay at Dancing Bear Lodge - the mattress needs replacing (it felt like falling in a hole). Everything else was wonderful - clean, comfortable, welcoming, attractive. Loved welcome basket and lots of towels. Setting is lovely and nice comp'd breakfast at Apple Valley Cafe. Would gladly stay here again. »

« We spent a few days at Smoky Waters Lodge over spring break and had a GREAT visit! the cabin is exactly as presented in the listing. Everything was clean, organized, and no extra clutter in the house! It felt like a little retreat in the midst of the mountains. The cabin is only about a 15-20 minute drive from all of the events and activities you may want to do in the area. The distance was enough to let you feel like you were away from it all, but close enough to enjoy the things that you may...

« Our first family reunion of our HUGE family. There was plenty of space. We had 10 adults and 11 grandkids there. All didn’t spend the night but we added a blow up mattress and had room for a couple more if it had been necessary. It rained all weekend but it didn’t matter. The kitchen is well equipped. The hosts are super responsive. We will rent again because the location is right between two of our adult kids’ houses. A+++ »

« Really really nice property. Only issue we had was the next guest renting the property showed up around 9:30 while we were cleaning up and our check out time was 10. It was a bit weird and inconvenient but apparently they booked the unit to set up for an event from 10-11. I think that’s a bit close with our time being 10 to check out. Otherwise, the property was beautiful! No issues at all. »

« Our stay was perfect! The host was great. She even called and checked in with us. They supply mainly everything you need! I appreciated the fact that there were pots and pans in the kitchen, along with spices!! It was very clean and super homey! The swings on the porch were my favorite. Will definitely be staying here if we ever travel to the area again! »
