« Cute little cottage close to everything. Kids loved the back yard. Thank you for having us »

« It is located walking distance (10-15 min) from major attractions, plenty of restaurants in the area. Bedrooms (2) are in the second floor by stairs. The property is in an historical heritage building, so layout and space distribution is a little unusual, which adds to the charm. The host is next door and readily available if needed ( we did not have any issues with the property). »

« Carol’s place was great! The cottage was super cosy especially with the fireplace. Our dog loved exploring the big garden and it was great knowing the whole area was secure for him to zoom around. Will definitely be back for our next trip to the mountains! »

« Perfect location was a little disappointed that the place wasn’t as new as advertised. Definitely not just been done up. The blind was all ripped and the kitchen cupboards had tape holding them together. Overall great little place because of location. »

« The wanderers retreat is a lovely spot. We will definitely be back. It was only a short drive to the town centre but felt like you were out in your own private rainforest. There was so much wildlife. A magpie family that visit several times a day, kookaburras and even a couple of cheeky possums. »

« Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. »

« Would definitely recommend Lonely Goat Olives for a farm stay experience in the Hunter Valley. We had a fantastic time soaking in the views, catching fish and roasting marshmallows on the fire. Kids didn't want to leave. »

« We had a lovely stay at Jude's. The apartment is beautifully finished and very private. The kitchen has everything you need and more, the bathroom is huge and luxurious. The living room looks out onto the beautiful gardens and is a very cosy space. It is close to the cultural centre and aan easy walk to the theatre through a memorial park. Hope to be back! Thanks Jude, and thanks for those little extras which made us feel very welcome. »

« This cottage is the perfect weekend getaway to stay at in the season of autumn. We had everything we needed and more, Olwen and her family were lovely and responded quickly to communication. We even had left behind items arranged to be picked up in Sydney thanks to her kindness. A must stay cottage if you are travelling to the mountains this year! »
