« The house was lovely, easy walk to the dock. Water toys were plentiful, the house was well appointed with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The driveway is pretty steep but our Chevy Tahoe had no problem getting out. »

« The property was awesome. The home was equipped with everything that we needed. The views were exceptional. The only draw back was we arrived late Friday night and had to go to a public boat launch since we were not able to take the boat to the property and trying to locate the property at night in the water was a little trying. But the host did provide pretty good directions from the boat launch. I would definitely use them again. »

« If you love nature this place is perfect! Quiet little oasis in a very secluded area perfect for family gatherings or just couples. This was actually our second visit! We loved the seclusion, private beach and surrounding National Forest area. So many beautiful trails and sites to see in this area of Alabama and not enough time to get them all in. We’ll definitely be back again and would suggest friends and family to visit as well 😊❤️ »

« We enjoyed our stay at this cottage on Smith Lake so much! It is right on the water! Loved how close the dock is with very few steps. It has pretty new furniture. The beds were comfortable with nice clean linens. There are plenty of towels and extra blankets. The kitchen is very well stocked. We had coffee on the deck every morning. « If you’re looking for an out of the box, secluded place to stay, with a pretty drive with peace and quiet, this is it! Such an adorable little bungalow, backed up to a creek a hill, we sept so cozy. Extremely nice property to explore, beautiful kitchen to use, and a nice bathroom. « I wanted a quiet and relaxing 2 day getaway where I could be right at the lake. Although this was more of a inlet of the lake, it was absolutely perfect spot. Because it was an inlet, the boats going by were going nice and slow, so it was nice to watch without their motors being loud. I spent most of my time outside on the porch relaxing, watching the lake, the boats going by and just reading my book. So relaxing. Can't wait to get back there again. »
