Dommage pas de petit déjeuner, le monnayeur était en panne erreur e51 et ce pendant 3 jours donc pas facile de faire les lessives sans les pièces de 100 yens et impossible de payer la chambre en espèces

The excellent service provided by the staff. In this respect I have to single out Suzawa and Abe who did their utmost to ensure they my needs were promptly catered for in a professional and very courteous manner. I also liked the size and cleanliness of the rooms and view from the large windows. Where this hotel, however, looses appeal is the lack of transportation and dining facilities. Not even cereal packets and milk or a simple European breakfast. This is a major drawback made worse by the fact that there are almost no places in Nikko that offer a good breakfast or lunch. The lack of eating options is exacerbated by very limited public transport (just a bus which goes past twice a day). The hotel is not far from the centre of Nikko but the road is not walkable because the location is uphill and very dark at night and with no footpaths. Given the price of the accommodation I would have expected a courtesy car pick up like the hotels in Hakone provide. The latter drawbacks are regrettable because, this is otherwise, an excellent hotel to stay in.

Great hotel , we really liked are room it a nice size with a comfy bed The room was quite , so a great night sleep 💤 The hotel is a 30 minute up hill walk to the hotel and 25 minutes back to the station 5 minutes in a taxi . Price varies £4.70 -£7.00

I arrived at this hotel injured after breaking my arm in another hotel.Staff were AMAZING. I can honestly say I’ve never had better service or care ever and anywhere. Hotel facilities are exceptionally clean and modern. I am surprised it is only a three star. I have travelled a lot and this definitely ranks with four star standards. Once again I cannot emphasise how absolutely brilliant the stuff work, all of the Staff that we were working that day were phenomenal and deserve a huge congratulations And thank you from myself

Everyone was really nice. They really helped us out and it’s not far by car from the train station. It was really clean in the bedrooms were really spacious compared to other hotels we stayed at in the country.

Basic Hotel in the quiet part of Nikko
1. Bedroom: quite spacious for Japanese standard. Clean and well-maintained. Coffee and tea along with two bottle of mineral waters are provided. A little fridge can be found right below the coffee/tea-making facility 2. Bathroom: there is a sliding door that can be pulled to create a partition between bathroom areas and the bedroom. That means you can bath in private. The bathroom is simply a small cubicle room with clear transparent glass door. Toilet room is located separately next to the bathroom. Everything is clean and well-maintained. Two big bottles of bodywash liquid and shampoo (no conditioner) are provided as well. 3. Breakfast: the hotel doesn’t provide breakfast because it doesn’t even have a restaurant. But there’s a small common room where you can use a microwave and griller. You can grab extra coffee and tea, either you take it to your room or use the coffee maker in the common room. The big plus is the complimentary instant miso soups that are up to grab! Starting a cold autumn morning with a miso soup is such a soothing experience 4. Wifi: works great 5. Location: it’s located at the quiet part of Nikko. You need a transport (5 mins by car) to go to the central area of Nikko but the hotel area is calm and peaceful. Perfect base also to visit Toshogu Shrine, Edo Wonderland and Lake Chuzenji. Parking area are spacious

It would be great if there’s a shuttle services from the station to the hotel. The local bus is services is so rare that makes it very inconvenient to reach the hotel.

Great service- when a taxi couldn't come out to take us to dinner (covid reduced the number of available drivers) one of the wonderful staff members drove us to dinner in his car! This location is off the main bus routes and in an area without restaurants, but lovely and a great bed!

This hotel is practically brand new, and is thoughtfully designed, attractive, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The rooms are practical and well-appointed, and there is a shared public area for sitting, small food kitchen for guests, and even an outdoor seating area to enjoy the view of the surrounding nature. All welcome and relaxing after a day's hiking or sightseeing. Excellent experience I would repeat any time! The property is somewhat removed from town, and there is no restaurant at the hotel, in case that's a consideration for others contemplating a stay. I would guess it's a 30-minute walk to town, but it might be a bit dangerous after dark as the roads are not lit. Not sure if there's a shuttle or other transportation options for those without a car? In our case, we had a car, and it was a non-issue. Really loved our time here and highly recommend it!
