Had a great two night stay here. Fast check in/oit. The room had good size for two people, was clean, pretty quiet and modern looking. The elevators were fast (which can be an issue at NYC hotels). We loved the happy hour bar vouchers; the bartender was cool. Wish we could have taken advantage of the voucher on our second day, but we had plans. This was the third time we stayed in a hotel in the Flower District over the last few years and it’s definitely the best one of the three. Definitely would stay here again.

The staff at this hotel were warm and professional. It is an easy access to Time Square and Manhattan. There are quite a lot of dining options nearby.

Amazing property. Clean, beautiful and front staff was always there and available. Amazing views of the city from your room (32 floors high!) My only criticism would be that their bar is not open for business yet. They don’t have their license to serve yet so their bar area was not as fun as I’d like just yet. Other than that though, gorgeous and right in the middle of the flower district. Subway red line is at corner and can get you anywhere. Staff was great. This was probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at in NYC thus far (12 ish visits).

Pros: friendly staff, good location, comfortable beds, nice bath products. Cons: So much noise. Walls are paper thin, doors open loudly and slam closed, halls echo, the blinds in the room slide down metal rods with a metal pulley system that squeak and whine. If you have any level of insomnia or anxiety this hotel is awful because the level of noise especially at night.

Conveniently located next to transportation and food. They store your luggage without qualms. Elevators were fast. Room was comfortable & spacious. Bathroom needed more counter space / shelves / hooks but otherwise good. Housekeeping was spotty and inconsistent day-to-day as to what they forgot to replenish. Front desk staff were professional, efficient, and courteous.

We arrived early morning not expecting our room to be ready before 4p check-in. We were excited to learn it was ready! Front desk, housekeeping, maintenance staff and the bartender (free happy hour was a nice perk!) were all so welcoming and kind. The beds are comfy and our room was spotless. Yes. The bathroom countertop is small like I’ve read BUT you can easily move the towels from underneath and place them elsewhere in your room. VOILA! Problem solved. I don’t see how folks can complain about the place. We will be back. 😀 Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

The elevator has no buttons inside. There is no free coffee downstairs when guests arrive. Modern look and big window ceiling to floor. Angle of view not right for Empire State Building. Shampoo was nice. Beds were comfortable. Good water flow and temperature of shower.

Property was very clean. Loved the 2 free drink Happy Hour every night. Did not like all of the trouble we had with room keys whether it was digital phone key or credit card style hard key. Was a nuisance for most of the trip.

I have stayed in many hotels on the same street as Aloft and I have to say this was the weakest one in all fronts. Needs better management. Front desk was very courteous and efficient. There was nothing they could have done to make it for a better stay. Soft beds, unclean hallways, missing shower gel, noisy, unkempt appearance. Will not stay again, better choices in the area.

I love how close this are was to everything. The hotel itself was really good for the price. The staff wasn’t very helpful. We arrived at hotel at 5 and weren’t given our room key until 6:15 even though check in is at 4. They did reward us with complimentary drinks.

Basic but fine for the most part
The stay was nice- a basic hotel room. There was a blue light that came from a plug that was a minor annoyance and it was weird that there was hardly any bathroom counter space (and poor bathroom lighting for makeup- they could use a makeup mirror!). But overall a good stay in the city and great location! Also free drinks at the bar was a nice bonus.
