Hôtel neuf! Super beau et propre! L’extérieur est ordinaire,mais l’intérieur vaut la peine! Hôtel neuf, et moderne! Les employés sont sympathiques et aident les clients!

Unplanned overnight stay. Found this hotel on Expedia. Facility is new, clean, and we’ll staffed. It was also the cheapest listing for that night in the vicinity.

The hotel was nice but disappointed in the bartender who was not knowledgeable about ingredients for a basic Hugo spritz, not bothered to Google it. Also, matcha lattes were below average at the coffee bar, so it be nice to have drinks that taste the way they are supposed to. More so, I was given a handicap accessible room, which I dislike immensely since it was not requested. Due to the busy weekend, I did not make an issue of this; however, my room’s toilet was not properly flushing. We reported the issue and an engineer replaced the toilet valve, but this was the least ideal experience during my stay. The room served its purpose since I was attending the Yale graduation but would not opt to stay at this location again.

For this price point I was very disappointed. The service was very good, but the quality of food was very poor. In addition, the quality of the sheets and Mattress was equal to a much lower priced hotel.

Amazing hotel with top notch staff. The restaurant is not your average hotel restaurant - food is fresh and delicious, service was outstanding. We would absolutely choose Hotel Marcel again!

Hmmm. New Haven is a dumpster fire! If it was not for the university, it would probably disappear. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The food is ok, full of consultants, so weird.

The property is a 3 star at best property trying to be a 5 star. The restaurant is horrible only open minimal hours and the bar doesn’t open until 4pm and has a very small selection of liquors. The staff is nice and friendly but very poorly trained. Don’t be fooled by the nice bio write they have on here it’s not what you would expect it to be. The water view is a view of an industrial barge harbor with big fuel tanks.

Love the suit beautiful the tub so relaxing the view I felt disconnected in a good way from New Haven as I am a resident. It was amazing clean.

I thought it was amazing the security is great and the people at the desk were very helpful and polite. The room was very tidy and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing.

The property was spotless. I don’t think I seen a single piece of trash etc any where inside the property. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They offered suggestions for places to eat and see. We ate breakfast and the food was good. Had drinks at the bar and they were okay. The parking lot was a bit crazy since it’s next to ikea but had no issues parking over the weekend. We were close enough to downtown we were able to walk to some things and drove to others.

I had gotten a reccomendation for this hotel and was quite impressed. It was slightly more expensive then others in the area but had nice ammeneties and services. It was nice to have real glass and cermic coffee mug in the room instead of paper and plastic cups. I would stay there again.

This is a lovely hotel. Not only is it a design experience- I loved that!- but it is run by a friendly and helpful staff. The lobby is super comfortable and beautifully designed. Yes, mid century modern but not at all cold. The rooms are also very comfortable and well-appointed. It’s clear this structure was once something else - the hallways are broad and wide, the rooms have high ceilings and lots of light. Super minimalist - but great design. I loved how the lights worked on motion detection. So much attention to detail throughout the space.

The blackout curtains were amazing! Nice clean room and nice design, but a bit too pricey for a very badic room. Room was VERY small for the price and didn't even include a pool or breakfast.
