Almost impossible to sleep

There were multiple minor things like a poor TV and intermittent shower pressure, but the real problem was that the Air Conditioner was loud and went off about every 45 minutes. I might have slept through one, but definitely did not sleep for more than 2 hours continuously. Inexpensive for the town, but there were others nearby that I would try next time instead.

Roach

Les - : Front desk person needs to be more knowledgible and don't let the first thing the guest see if a roach running near front desk.
Situation : Not much to do near hotel.
While checking in a roach ran past us which mad us want to grab out bags and get out but it was close to midnight so we stayed. They initially gave us a room that was still occupied we had to go back at front desk and inform them. The room we got was ok. The TV was from the 1980's. The bed was comfy and room ws clean.

Days Inn

A little dated but it served the purpose. The one issue is I had was the drapes didn't close all the way and aren't even set up to. The couch in the room is comfortable but the TV should be in the living area not in the bed space, made it difficult to watch TV on the couch and be comfortable.

Nice rooms but poor breakfasts

Our king suite was very nice. The bed was comfortable. But the breakfast was pathetic. Canned fruit cocktail and watery orange juice ... In Florida! No protein except milk for cereal - all cereals were sugared. A real (and poor) contrast to the less expensive hotels right next door. I would not return unless breakfast improves.

Adequate But Loud

Our room was fine - adequate. unfortunately they chose to place us right next to the front desk so it was loud all night long. Everyone coming in and out talking at the front desk, being woken multiple times through the night. It appeared the hotel was empty so unsure why this was necessary.

Hotel was very musty and had odor from some water damage. Property had a police incident while we were very and police was all over the property and news media as also present.

Poor maintenance and cleaning

Hotel room was not properly cleaned when we arrived. Asked for a new room, but they were fully booked. At least they sent someone to finish the cleaning. Air conditioning was so noisy that we couldn't sleep. There was a water leak in one of the hallways, so the smell from the carpet was awful.
