The staff was wonderful including front desk and kitchen. I appreciated that they arranged and early big morning breakfast for us and we had access to the Fairview restaurants.The only downside was no AC in our room and no elevator on our side as we were on the 4th floor.

This is a very safe upscale hotel with two restaurants across the street from the Israel Embassy. We discovered there are two names to this property. Be sure to book as the Fairview Hotel for better rooms and poolside. The "Town Lodge Upper Hill " rooms were no where near as nice. I paid for an upgrade for my business trip and returned three times. The staff was very helpful and the food was great.

The hotel is reasonably priced for Nairobi and had all the amenities you need, the breakfast is very tasty and filling and you can also use the facilities at the adjoining Fairview which are great. The staff are really friendly and helpful, in particular Valentine who personally greeted me by name every day and really looked after me, making me feel like it was a home from home. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Great stay
The Town Lodge is connected to and basically the discount side of the Fairview Hotel. Other than smaller rooms and a simpler breakfast, the high standards of the Fairview apply at the Town Lodge. Of particular note, in a country where hotels are expensive and service is poor, the Town Lodge is a real deal and the service is impeccable.

The Town Lodge is in a great location. The rooms are good and the beds very comfortable! The level of service is very good and staff are friendly. At the weekend we enjoyed an excellent breakfast in the adjoining Fairview Hotel.
