peut être bruyant côté rue si l'on n'est pas habitué au tram et au bus .... sinon rien à dire de particulier. Nous n'avons pas pris de petit déjeuner à l'hôtel donc nous n'avons pas d'avis à donner.

“Bien situé, confortable mais bémol sur la propreté des chambres”

L'hôtel est vraiment tout proche d'une station de métro, la gare centrale est accessible en 5-6 minutes seulement. Le quartier, plutôt résidentiel, est relativement calme le soir. Il y a également de nombreux commerces à proximité de l'hôtel. Les chambres sont assez petites, tout comme la salle de bain mais on a à disposition une petite kitchenette (micro-onde, plaque électrique, mini bar, vaisselles...). Seul bémol, le ménage quotidien des chambres est fait partiellement (les draps sont juste refaits mais pas changés) et la propreté laisse parfois à désirer (beaucoup de poussière sur le rebord de la fenêtre ...). Dans l'ensemble, des prestations plutôt satisfaisantes pour ce type d'hôtel.

“tram line & street lamps ruin stay”

During the great '11 heat wave I stayed in this hotel for a 2day/1night business trip. If you're on the streetside of the hotel and open the window you hear the tram loudly rumble by every 10 minutes. If you're as unfortunate as me to have a street lamp directly outside your window [1st & 2nd floor take warning!], the light will keep you up all night unless you close the curtains & bake in the draftless, airconditionless rooms. I was pleasantly surprised that the room contained a small kitchenette. The chair in the room had a cigarette burn or tear, and the mini-fridge should have been turned on before I checked in - especially since there was a heatwave outside. I didn't bother with breakfast as it was a crazy 12€. However, I won't be staying here again & will be looking for a more modern hotel with AC.

“Safe, clean & friendly hotel in a good location”

The hotel is in a nice suburb next to the underground station at Rotkreuzplatz It's just 3 stops from Munichs central station providing easy access to the whole city & airport. Buses and trams also stop on the same street as the hotel. I did easy day trips by train from here to Innsbruck (2 hours each way) and Schloss Neuschwanstein (2 hours each way). Munich is a lovely city with plenty to see & do. I stayed in a single room and it was a good size with a useful kitchenette area with microwave, sink and hob. There are a couple of shops / mini-markets close by and a traditional beerkeller on the corner which served good food and great beer. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and I'd happily recommend this hotel.

“First trip to Munich”

This hotel was fantastic! The woman who worked the front desk was so wonderful and helpful! The breakfast is very good [they offered caviar and smoked salmon one morning], and no one rushes you. The room was spacious- rare in Europe, as was the bathroom, and it had a kitchenette! The room and hotel were clean and modern, I had no problem with the free internet, and felt very safe. Highly recommend it! BTW- do know that no where in Germany did we have top sheets- they change the cover on the comforter. Also they do not offer face towels.

Nice room but very small. Easy to find off train station. Not somewhere you want to spend a lot of time in the room. far from soccer "football" stadium

“Ideal for a few days visit to Munich”

The hotel is in a very good location right next to the underground station at Rotkreuzplatz, just 3 stops from Hauptbahnhof on the U1. Trams stop nearby too. The rooms are a reasonable size with a nice little kitchenette area with microwave, sink and hob. Just enough crockery for 2. There are plenty of bakeries and supermarkets just a few steps away, so its great to keep costs down. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it seemed quite expensive - although it looked as if there was plenty of food available on the buffet! Its clean and quiet with helpful, English-speaking staff at reception. I would recommend without hesitation.

“Great time in Munich”

I had been looking forward to visiting Munich and Octoberfest for most of my life. When I found this hotel at the price I found it, I was very excited. After all, I would not be in the hotel very often. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The room was very comfortable with a kitchenette. The location was wonderfully close to the u-bahn station so I could get anywhere in town quickly and easily. The area around the hotel fun with several outdoor biergartens and restaurants. I did not feel uncomfortable walking around even at night. Overall the trip was fantastic and the hotel helped me enjoy it even more.

“Convenient Hotel”

I have stayed at GHotels elsewhere and found this hotel in line with the others. The room was of good size and was clean. The real advantage of this hotel chain is the small kitchenette in each room. This is really just two electric burners, a sink, and a small fridge, but still allows some basic meals to be made. There is no air conditioning, but it is generally not hot enough in Munich to require this. This hotel is close to a U-Bahn stop, but not really within walking distance of the city center.
