Tres bien situé mais
Il y avait un bruit fou dans cet hotel. Ils ont décidé de faire des travaux pendant notre séjour. Perceuse, marteau, jusque tard en soirée. On a dû les avertir 3 ou 4 fois pour qu'ils arrêtent. Après 16 heures de vol, c'est vraiment décevant. Nous pensions choisir un bon hotel pour se reposer du décalage horaire alors que nous avons terriblement mal dormi. La propreté laissait à désirer aussi, même à l'endroit où nous prenions notre petit déjeuner. Alors tres déçus.

Confortable. Calme. Personnel accueillant, serviable et très courtois. Idéal pour découvrir Bombay, ses musées, ses monuments, ses restaurants et ses marchés. Je le recommande.

Hôtel bien situé, juste en arrière du Taj Mahal
Hôtel propre, bons déjeuners, personnel affable et en plus très bien situé, à deux pas du Taj Mahal Hôtel, de la porte de l'Inde et de plusieurs bons restaurants. Le personnel est avenant et sais répondre à nos besoins. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour de trois nuits.

- Service laisse à désirer (aucune information sur la ville, les sites touristiques, etc.) - Salle à manger situé dans un couloir (assez désagréable quand on veut manger tranquillement) - Idéal pour un court séjour car l'hôtel est bien situé

Découverte à pied de Colaba - Mumbai trės facile
Hotel avec situation trės pratique sur le côté du Taj Mahal Palace. Excellent pour les visites et les déplacements. Personnel d'accueuil trės serviable. Salle de bain style ocidental, ok. Petit déjeuner omelette ou végétarien.Tranquille et sûr le soir, mais la misère est à côté. Nombreux contrastes saisissants ou choquants. L'Inde. A deux blocs de la rue touristique. Le pratique sans la foule. Hôtel pour Occidentaux et Asiatiques.

Sur l'hôtel en lui même, pas grand chose à dire même si l'organisation n'est pas terrible et qu'il faut parfois rappeler plusieurs fois au service de l'hôtel que l'on veut telle ou telle chose. Le point le plus négatif reste le bruit. Obligé de mettre la clim afin de couvrir les bruits venant de l'extérieur et de l'intérieur de l'hôtel pour pouvoir dormir. Et leurs couettes sont en 2 parties, ce qui est aussi un point négatif.

REGENT HOTEL: proche de tout et serviabilité du p
On nous a proposé de revenir prendre une douche le soir car notre train ne partait que vers 22h alors qu'on demandait de pouvoir laisser les bagages jusqu'au soir; le patron a appelé lui meme un taxi et lui a expliqué ou nous emmener ( heureusement car ce n'était pas la gare habituelle )

accueil surprenant, > 1/4 heure pour trouver notre chambre réservée et payée depuis 15 jours. Chambre avec vue sur l'arrière cour et immeubles style HLM Indien. Rideaux sur la baie vitrée donnant sur le couloir et laissant passer un aperçu de l'intérieur de la chambre. Moteurs puissants au dessus de notre tête toute la nuit ( 4 ème étage ). A eu des jours meilleurs. Mais très bien situé en ville. 20 à 30 minutes pour obtenir un café et des toasts ( comme ailleurs) Personnel aimable

This is a very old hotel it’s crying out for a makeover it’s in an amazing spot just behind the Taj Mahal palace, The Staff quite friendly, it’s not I luxurious hotel It’s quite a nice property but it would be lovely to see it been updated

The staff were friendly, the property well maintained and the bedding and bathrooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and service good. A special mention to the door staff who were attentive and to the landing staff who were always around if you needed anything. The hotel is well placed to see all the sights and Tuk Tuks and taxis are always around to get to things further afield.

It was a very uncomfortable hotel. We where not happy with the quality of service and the rude service provided at the facility. We voiced our complaints and where told to contact Hotels.com for any problems and nothing was corrected at the hotel itself. The staff at the counter did not allow us to have a guest visit us at our hotel. They where demanding and very controlling of anything we did. They also didnt provide good hospitality, they have a sign that says be our guest let us do the rest and i feel as if it was a scam. We where also around another couple of people who didnt not like the situations the hotel staff where giving. Please if your interested find another hotel. Dont stay here.

it was clean, comfortable , welcoming, the staff was helpful and the location wonderful. My only complaint is around their policy to not allow people in the rooms who are not registered and no local India people . I was in Mumbai to visit a dear friend and when we in my are and wanted to sit and talk and use the loo I was not allowed to invite him to my room . This was embarrassing and not handled that gracefully by the front desk. And it is quiet an expensive hotel and I feel I should be able to bring my friends to my room if I please too. I am fine if they want their ID But this is actually a kind of discrimination towards native Indians, had he been a foreigner he could have joined me by submitting ID but not as a native Indian. The establishment appears to be owned and operated by Indians so not sure where these ideas are coming from but this is a reason I would not return to the hotel.

Lage des Hotels super! Mitten in Coloba. Gleich um's Eck von India Gate und Taj Palace Hotel. Man kann in Coloba alles zu Fuß erkunden. Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich und extrem bemüht. Wir hatten am ersten Tag kein Internet. Keiner wusste warum. Am nächsten Tag funktionierte es immer noch nicht! Die Rezeption hat sich Nachts und auch am nächsten Tag darum gekümmert. Eine Lösung wurde dann leider erst am Nachmittag des 2. Tag gefunden. Wir hatten ein Upgrade in die Suite bekommen. War ein riesen großes Zimmer mit Sitzecke und Küchenzeile. Zimmer sind Renovierungsbedürftig, aber sauber. Frühstück ist ein "Complementary" Frühstück und somit kein Buffet. Gibt auf der Karte Omlette/ Rührei und Toast mit Butter/ Marmelade. Kaffee oder Tee, das war's. Würde dieses Hotel jederzeit- auf Grund der Lage, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältniss und Freundlichkeit des Personals- wieder buchen.

Rent og godt beliggende hotel
Regent ligger i et super fedt område - tæt på Gateway of India, lækre restauranter, andre hoteller, gode caféer & lokalt marked. Et trygt område med en masse gode shopping muligheder og i gå afstand til andre attraktioner. Hotellet var hyggeligt og de ansatte var søde og opmærksomme. Internettet var langsomt, men det var det stort set alle steder i indien, så det siger nok ikke så meget om hotellet.

La estancia podría haber sido plena de satisfación, pero la limpieza, parece ser que a los turistas no vale todo, nos han tenido que cambiar las sábanas porque nos daba la sensación de que no habían sido cambiadas. Hace falta más limpieza en las mesas y la cubertería en los desayunos servidos en un pasillo-comedor. Una pena, el hotel podría ser de diez si cuidaran la limpieza y los detalles.

Decent hotel and Great location and....
Overall the hotel was nice as were the front desk staff and restaurant waiter, not to mention professional and helpful. However, some of the porters would constantly stare at my friend and I especially while we were eating. I mentioned this to the front desk and they seemed to accept it but whether they will inform their staff to not stare at their guests is a whole other story. My friend and I actually felt a bit on edge and uncomfortable towards the end of our stay because of the staff's lack of etiquette.

Well located comfortable hotel in Mumbai
The hotel was extremely comfortable and very well located in colaba, around the corner from the Taj palace and cafe Leopold. The staff went the extra mile for me, allowing me to shower in a room despite the fact I had already checked out as I had a very late flight. The breakfast was nice but choice was limited.

The only good thing of a Regent hotel is perfect location behind Taj Palace hotel and just few step to Arabian Sea. The rest is not really impressive - dirty room with noisy voice at night time - poor breakfast - room rate is too expensive - no value for money at all

Een redelijk tot goed hotel. Groot minpunt is het ontbreken van een fatsoenlijke ontbijt- /restaurant ruimte; ontbijt wordt namelijk op de gang geserveerd, aan vieze tafeltjes met slechte stoelen, door knorrig personeel. Pluspunt: Vlakbij Leopold café en een leuke markt. Verder natuurlijk The Gateway of India.

In need of some TLC
This was a bit of an odd stay! This hotel is in an amazing location, which is presumably why it costs a fair amount to stay there. When we first arrived we were shown to a room that smelt of cigarettes and was pretty dirty. We asked to be moved and were relocated to a much bigger room, which also had a weird smell - not as bad as the cigarettes though! During our 3 day stay they dismantled the stairs that led from our room to the rest of the hotels, without letting us know they were doing so. The location was great and ok if you want to rest your head, but this definitely isn't a luxury hotel.

Good location
Didn't have room ready when we arrived even though it was later in the evening. Wanted to change our hotel instead of this one we booked to one further out. Finally got a room which was too small for 3 people. They wanted just to put a mattress on the floor instead of an extra bed but we refused.
