We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. « My husband and I stayed two nights, arriving late in the afternoon. We had no difficulty finding or getting into the property. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were out doing things in the area most of the time, but did enjoy a slow, quiet morning and loved being able to walk to the nearby park and enjoy the view. « The title and description are spot on, this is a vintage home with every amenity we needed for a long weekend exploring Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. We only needed 3 bedrooms, so did not use the bunk beds tucked into the first floor alcove, and planned to spend most of our time out & about. It was a perfect location for us. »

« We really enjoyed our stay here! The photos don’t do justice to the beautiful view from the porch. We spent most of our time at the cottage on the porch, watching the boats come and go. There were ospreys nesting nearby and it was awesome to watch them. The cottage was just enough space for the two of us. « This is a great place especially if you have dogs. The only advice I would give the management company is to leave directions to the transfer station or better yet take the trash for your guests at the end of their stay. Putting smelly trash in our car wasn’t great. All in all though, it was a great place for a family with dogs! »
