Wonderful stay in Sassi
great stay in a magnificent region, great welcome from GianCarlo, the house is pretty, very comfortable, clean, spacious and very well equipped. an exceptional view. an extra week with friends. The ideal place to visit the area : Lucca, CinqueTerre... We strongly recommend this address!

Very nice property in remote area with splendid views
We spent a wonderful week in this lovely place (9 people aged from 8 to 50). It's far from everything, but very nice and relaxing, the pool was really appreciated by everyone. The main house and cottage are both well equiped and our host was very friendly and knowledgeable on the region and the places to visit

Best wishes, Lorraine at tuscan-retreats NB - for future guests, whilst the property is very rural, there is a good restaurant within walking distance which is a bonus and also there are 2 towns within a 15 minute drive that have all the facilities you need (one with hypermarket) with places to eat on the way too. So, a good mix of a mountain stay but with facilities not too far too!

Quiet holiday home with lots of space, great views. Perfect place to relax with friends or family
The main house and the cottage have everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The swimming pool is the perfect place to relax. The place has almost total privacy but is just 300 meters from the village. The views to surrounding mountains and the valley are spectacular. 15 min away in Galicano is the huge Conad Super Store where you will find everything you need. The owner Giancarlo is very friendly and helpful. The only restaurant in the village 'Il Totto' has good food for a reasonable prize. We really liked to stay there. We had a beautiful holiday

Remote, but Fabulous
It's a long drive up winding hills, but once you arrive in Sassi, you can forget about all your worries, sit back and relax. The main farmhouse and the cottage are both well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool was a godsend on especially hot days, especially for the children, who spent hours playing Marco Polo and other water games well into the evening. Our host was extremely helpful and was a walking encyclopedia of information about the surrounding areas, too. We were a party of eleven, ages 8 to 73. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay and took away some wonderful memories. Thank you to GT for everything!
