Dear Nordamise, we are sorry to hear that the room you selected at the time of booking was not a great fit for you. Carpets are vacuumed every morning by housekeeping. A Continental breakfast is a light meal that is given to the guest. We tried to accommodate your request for an additional roller bed and the request did include a fee but you denied it. Your request to upgrade to a bigger room did include a fee and you denied it also. We explained to you that the reservation that you had selected at the time of booking was only for the comfort of 2 people but you had another guest. Any additional guest does include a charge as per the policy of the hotel. We recommend you read the policy of a hotel and review well the room details you select next time before booking. Dear Danielle, we are very confused on how you express yourself towards our staff and areas of the hotel. We are located in a quiet neighborhood near the central police station. Our staff was kind at all times as I was present at the moment to greet you and proceed with your check-in. Most of our guest find our fragrance to be pleasant. You only had book bags with you at the time of check-in. We have announced in our property details that the building has "NO ELEVATOR". Also, strange how you heard "screams and crys from the neighbor below" because we have no rooms below the room you were in. Our cleanliness and neatness is our top priority so that is also weird for you to say that you seen roaches in your room. You also checked out of the room later that day. We consider this review to be malicious as you asked for a refund on a non-refundable reservation once you were already the hotel and now you're trying to find your way to make someone else's life miserable. Dear Gabriel, we reviewed your feedback and it did not seem to be as accurate as our policies and amenities are stated on the website and on Expedia at the time of your booking. It displays that our continental breakfast to go is only served on weekends. We do not display any where that our hotel has a pool, not sure where you saw that information at. We do offer complimentary coffee, tea and water. Additional items do have a cost as it is a convenience offered by the hotel. We respect your opinion by considering our hotel to be expensive and not having anything attractive towards your liking, although, by statistics our hotel is affordable and better looking on the interior in compared to other places that you may have to pay much more for, and that is going by what our previous guests have stated in their own experiences and reviews. We know that we can't make every guest content, so we do appreciate your opinion and will look into any further improvements to our hotel that may help with the experience of the stay of others. Your deposit was delayed due to an unpaid balance of a daily pet fee, when the hotel was not previously notified that you will be bringing a pet at the time of check-in, although your deposit was refunded after sorting out the unpaid balance over the phone. Saludos Victoria, el hotel nunca estaba cerrado si al fin te abrimos la puerta para que pudieras entrar. La puerta de entrada siempre esta cerrada por seguridad de los huéspedes. Los pasillos siempre tienen luces, no veo como describes que no tenían luz al tiempo de su estadía. Nos alegra saber que el personal le atendió de maravilla. Our Boutique Hotel is ADA approved and the requirement is 1 room, which we do have on the first floor. Although, the availability is always limited due to it only being 1 room. In our property details we do have stated that the hotel does NOT have an elevator. It is a historic building that has never had an elevator and the exterior is limited to changes. Many guest love to explore the area like Bayside, Brickell or the restaurants nearby so maybe that's why you felt like is was empty at the time of your stay. Thank you for staying with us.
