Fine for a short stay.

We were just in town for one night to attend a National's baseball game. We are familiar with Tyson's Corner and the Best Western had the most affordable prices for a week-night stay, so we booked it. The hotel has a nice complimentary breakfast and plenty of dining space. There is an indoor pool, but it is apparently only available in the evenings (5PM-10PM). Overall, we had a good experience and would stay there again.

Convenient Hotel in Tysons

This hotel is showing its age, especially in the parking lot and the elevators. However, the hotel staff were very pleasant and nice. They offer a full breakfast buffet and the location is very convenient to Tysons. This hotel is not fancy and could definitely use a refresh, but if you're looking for a clean place to stay for the night, this place does the trick.

Old, worn hotel ..

hotel was full of truckers and high school tour groups.. not a place for business stay; hotel was very old and dated, and walls were thin.. noisy. hotel staff was mechanical.. nothing special .. no thank you, etc. Not worth the $179 ..

Budget Friendly... Cold Showers!

The hotel is OK, but its a little concerning from the outside. The room was clean and neat, but the bathroom needed updating and the water didn't get hot (just warm). Overall, it was ok for an overnight trip to DC.

Well worth what you pay in this area.

Excellent location, staff, clean, well maintained. But no executive lounge (said closed temporarily), limited/same in breakfast.

Nice hotel. free shuttle to metro stop.

Needed a hotel for a short trip to DC. This was perfect for the one night. We arrived really late and front desk staff was very accommodating. Although pool was not available until 5pm so we were unable to use it. Breakfast was a full buffet of eggs bacon sausage waffel s and pancakes and was quite filling. No problems at all. to mention..would highly recommend.

Dreadful experience

First high rise Best Western I've seen in US. Interior looks like a Motel 6 seriously in need of renovation. Breakfast buffet would have been nice, but they were out of everything but one item. One sever to handle the buffet for that large hotel was ridiculous. The door to our room wouldn't unlock with our belongings inside!

Great location, good value for the money.

Bathroom was terrible outdated and small. couldn't access shower with door open as floor space so small and crowded. Vanity with sink outside of bathroom was of some help. Breakfast staff were friendly, the food was great and plentiful. A nice plus feature for everyone.

good for a few days

This hotel was in a great location and it was nice they let me check in early. However it is a very old hotel and the fitness equipment was awful. This is ok to stay at for a few days but it's nothing special.

Would recommend if going to the area.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good and attractively served. Free parking was definitely a plus.

good stay for either business or personal travel

This was not my first stay at the hotel. It is close to the metro with shuttle service from the hotel to the Metro. The breakfast offers plenty of choices. It must be a good place to work since one of the dining staff has been with the hotel for over 30 years. Very pleasant staff, reasonably priced, many restaurants in the area.

Great place to stay in DC's Dulles area.

I found this hotel when I was trapped in DC as a result of Airline delay. The staff gave me a room, they were flexible with my checkout time. I have nothing but high praise for the hotel staff.

Hotel review

Room clean and adequate. Elevator out of order ( landed on wrong floor and other couple got stuck )but they did have workers on it in short order. Breakfast decent. Overall would stay again.

Appreciative Washington DC Travelers

Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and very much appreciated!! They drove us to the Metro Station and picked us up when we returned; we also appreciated this convenience very much (it saved us stress since we weren't familiar with the area and the traffic in this area).

Good Hotel for Emergency Stay

Our flight was cancelled and we needed a place to stay around Dulles Airport in DC. All the airport hotels were totally booked so we stayed here. Not a fancy hotel but totally adequate for our emergency needs. Taxi fare was $30 to and from the airport. We got a good nights sleep and good breakfast which was all we intended. My husband FAXED my AAA card to the hotel so we could get the discount. The staff was courteous despite the late hour

dirty, dated, ok breakfast, half hour from DC, however, avery time we go down that highway, there is traffic, so give yourself an hour, rude staff, found a cigarette but in my room, sink didn't work

Price performer...

The reason I have booked this hotel for the last two times that I have visited the Tyson area has to do with its location, and reasonable rate (when you purchase thru the "unpublished rate" module. The offer a complimentary breakfast as part of the deal, have good WiFi (complimentary), and have plenty of rooms. This property is ideal for the "in and out" business traveler.
