Felt save.Room was clean except the door and frame around it really needed cleaned. I put the address into google and it took me to another location and yes i checked it 3 times to make sure i put it in correctly.

We needed a place to stop midway on a trip and this place was perfect! It was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was continental but included fresh waffles and hard boiled eggs. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. Can't beat the price!

This place was charming. There’s a pond in the back with a gazebo overlooking it. It was so peaceful. This is one of those down-home places. Even though some things about it are older, like the carpet, we love staying places like this. The staff was so personable and above and beyond helpful.

This is an older facility but remodeled, clean and well maintained. Would stay again if passing through. Just a note that it is several miles south of McAlister.

I don't know how they got a score of 9.0
The trash was overflowing by the door. The vending machines are all broken so if you want something to drink other than tap water bring your own. My uncle got locked out of the room and nobody answered the bell at the lobby desk. I went to inquire about a water bottle shortly after getting there and nobody responded. I'm glad i called ahead to let them know when i would be there or i fear we wouldn't have even been let in. Breakfast was a joke there was hardly anything there.

We are very sorry for the experience during your stay. As far as the trash not being changed, we got that taken care of. We lock the door at 9pm for security purposes. We want our guests to feel safe during their stay. There is a sign on the door before you go outside letting you know to make sure to have your room key because the door locks behind you. We are also a smaller hotel; we don't have the room for a kitchen to do a bigger breakfast. Our website states we only offer a continental breakfast.

This is an older hotel but it has been well maintained. The room we had (106) was huge. Everything was clean and in good shape. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed one night while driving through Oklahoma on my way to Texas. It turned out to be the perfect stop. The check-in was quick; the room was large, nicely furnished, and clean. The bed was comfortable. Every worker I met in the morning wore a big smile.

This is your basic grab a room to stay for the night before driving hours again the next day. The place was quiet, very clean, and parking was easy. You need to ring the night clerk (we arrived at 11:45PM).

Great value for a comfortable place to stay.
I have stayed at the Candlelight Inn & Suites a few times. It is an older hotel that has been renovated. It is not the Ritz, but it is comfortable and the price cannot be beat for what you get. This is my preferred place to stay when I am traveling on US69 through Oklahoma.

Very friendly and accomidating. A bit outdated but great value for a rest during a trip. Had plenty of room for my vehicle and trailer, along with a few others. Conveniently located just south of town removing yourself from traffic, but 10 minutes from restraunts and shopping.

Ok for a short stay.
The hotel is in good condition. Our room was clean except for a dilapidated and dirty sofa that really needs to be replaced. There was not much offered for breakfast, but we had our own cereal and fruit. Overall, it was a pleasant one night stay. We had dinner at Captain Joe’s which we recommend.

Best bargain in McAlester, OK
I have stayed here before and this is the best bargain in the area. Large king suite and well under $100 including taxes for the night. Very friendly staff. The place is clean and comfortable.

Very Disappointed
The sheets had stains the towels looked dirty and the whole room smelt musty and of urine. The furniture was old and worn and the bed was so close to the ac unit you had to step over the ac to get to the back side of the bed. There was a bulb missing in the bathroom and the bathroom was very small compared to the size of the room. The coffee in the room was very limited and tasted old. Only had decaf. This property had a very high review on Hotel.com but it definately did not live up to it. The one good thing was that the room was very quiet.
