The owners are such a welcoming family and made me feel very like VIP. I will be going back and recommend Sandaway to anyone looking for that getaway in the Eastern Shore. « We enjoyed our overnight trip. There was plenty of wood for the firepit and the rooms were as advertised. Was actually bigger than I thought it would be. Host was very nice. We loved the chickens and the outdoor area. »

« This is a very nice and comfortable property. If you don’t have a car, it is an easy walk to the downtown area of Takoma Park. The bed is very comfortable and the heating/cooling is excellent. I just have a suggestion or two. A light by the door would be helpful when returning to the apartment at night. Also, in addition to the bath towel and hand towel provided, a washcloth would be appreciated and the soap in the shower should be in a wrapped package. I would definitely stay here again,...

« A great getaway but could even be better if you were to have a comfortable lounger in the living room as well as a couple of loungers in the garden. Despite the lounger issue I would definitely rent again »

« Great little place in the country! We were in town for a WVU game and wanted a nice place to stay - great alternative to the hotels charging extremely high rates due to the game. Wish we had more time to spend and relax at the apt. Rooster on the property, so be ready for an early morning wake up call ;) »

« Nice, clean, and quiet. My wife and I were visiting Baltimore for a weekend and the property is a short UBER to downtown. Victoria was a wonderful hostess with good communication through VERBO with us. The place was very cozy and relaxing to return to each night. »

« This place was nice and mostly clean (some ants roaming around the room). The room had a mini fridge and microwave. Which worked overall for what I needed. Only big issue I had was that the window needed black-out curtains, because at this renovated motel the lights stay on outside your room and shine in through the shades all night. So unless they fix this make sure you bring some eye shades unless you are not affected by light at night. »

« Very nice room. Air conditioner worked great, water got hot and sheets were clean! The room is decorated so cute and it had everything we needed including a small fridge and microwave. The Shaka pool bar was so much fun. Reasonably priced food and drinks and great atmosphere. The location is perfect too… close to beach, boardwalk, outlets, fancy restaurants and go carts. »
