Pas d'informations lors de la réservation sûr le fait que l'hôtel est isolé sûr une île et qu'il est obligatoire de prendre une barge pour s'y rendre avec une restriction horaire. De plus les chambres sont vieillottes. Ma femme a des problèmes de circulation et nous étions en hauteur dans un accès ascenseur. Le point positif c'est la petite promenade en bateau. Lieu plein de charme au bord de la baie. Extérieur (jardin) bien entretenu. Toutefois, l'intérieur est vieux et n'a, semble-t-il, pas été rénové. Rideaux sales, tuyauterie désuète, accueil déplorable. Arrivés après 20h00, quasiment aucune explication par la personne étant sur place (réception fermée). Alors que la réservation précisait baignoire et coin-salon séparé, il n'y avait ni l'un ni l'autre. A la réception, il a fallu insister pour avoir une chambre quelque peu en meilleur état.

hotel sans charme à éviter - accès par ferry
horrible : j'ai payé une chambre "beachfront" - ce qui veut dire front de mer ou sur la plage. En fait l'hôtel n'a pas ce type de chambre et la réception et le restaurant sont au bord de la baie. Donc une fraude manifeste puisque les chambres Beachfront sont plus appréciées et donc plus chères. Au delà de cela : l'hôtel oublie de mentionner que vous devez prendre un ferry pour traverser la baie et que vous n'arrivez pas en voiture ou taxi en bas de l'hotel. Donc une complication pour arriver, sortir et repartir. L'hôtel est sans charme dans une petite baie, pas de vue spectaculaire, chambre basique, wifi ne marche pas dans la chambre - bref un hotel à éviter

Unique hotel avec plage, dans un site merveilleux.
Hotel idéalement situé et avec un personnel très acceuillant. Seul bémol : aucune activité incluse dans le prix..... Même la salle de gym nécessite un accès payant. Restaurant très bon. Idéal pour passer une semaine au calme et profiter d'un cadre enchanteur.

Le Marigot Bay Resort, un hotel moyen!
Un service d'accueil qui n'est pas a la hauteur du standing de l’hôtel, peu aimable, peu serviable. Des chambres au mobilier rustique qui mériteraient un coup de frais. La vue sur la Bay et de site est exceptionnel. Très bon restaurant avec service impeccable -Le Doolittle. La piscine est ridiculement petite et la plage n'est pas aménagée pour la baignade (les fonds sont en pierres et tapis d'algues).

Plage pas très agréable à cause du grand vas et vient des bateaux qui partage l'espace de plage. Les prix sont très élevé et non négociables. Il n'y a pas de service à l'hôtel et la mini cuisine est désuète.

Pour une courte étape
Il n'y a que la vue sur la baie qui est magnifique. L'hôtel est en fin de vie et mériterait une restauration complète. Petit déjeuner lamentable. Comme c'est le seul hôtel qui pratique des prix corrects, il en profite largement. Comme il n'y a qu'un petit bout de plage, mieux vaut privilégier un cours séjour, maximum 3 nuits.

Le Marigot Beach Club: un peu trop isolé
Nous avons passé 3 semaines à Ste-Lucie dont 1 au Marigot Beach Club et 2 au Bay Guesthouse de Gros Islet. Nous avons été très déçus du Marigot Beach Club. Premièrement, le ferry était toujours en réparation et c'était compliqué de traverser de l'autre côté de la baie, on se sentait isolé du reste dù monde. Le chien (de l'hôtel disons le) a jappé toutes les nuits pendants quelques heures parfois et on nous disais qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire. Le studio "deluxe" était minuscule. Il n'y avait pas de moustiquaire dans la porte patio et Dieu sait à quel point il y avait des moustiques qui piquent!!! J'ai l'impression que cet hôtel a déjà été super mais il n'a pas été très bien entretenu selon moi. Je n'y retournerais pas.

Hi Veronique, Sorry that you are disappointed however crossing should not have been a hassle as there was an alternative ferry that was provided for all of our guests to cross and was free of charge. Marigot Beach Club is not isolated from the Island. It is part of the island, very beautiful, very scenic and there are several means of transportation to explore the island.

A Ste Lucie pour un week-end en amoureux, nous n'avons pas été déçu du choix de notre hôtel, accueil personnalisé sur le ponton, grand studio conforme à nos attentes, restaurant agréable avec un bon rapport qualité prix. Seul véritable souci du séjour, les déplacements, il faut payé le bateau pour rejoindre l'autre rive, puis prendre un taxi qui coute très cher au KM....Mais au final nous garderons de ce séjour un super souvenir !!!

This was a beautiful property for enjoying my last two days in Saint Lucia. Unfortunately I had no power for about 7 hours upon my first day which resulted in me missing my school course online. However, it eventually got restored. Room was nice and clean. Reception staff was amazing, and so was staff in doolittles restaurant which is attached to the resort. My only complaint was the security guard Ian, at first he was friendly and nice but then it turned creepy. Every time I would walk by him he kept saying he wanted to see me tonight and wanted to see me later and hopes he sees me. This was too much for me and made me extremely uncomfortable as a solo female traveller that I wouldn’t be out of my room once it got dark due to this. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed five nights. I did not have running water for four of the five days, across three different water outages. I also had two power outages. To accommodate me, they transferred me for two nights to a much cheaper room with a malfunctioning A/C and one day, I used a communal shower that multiple guests were using that also had a water shortage. One day, I had to use the restaurant bathroom because they couldn’t provide other options. The staff lied to me that they would issue a credit for the water outages and claimed they never happened once I had flown back. Awful experience that could have been resolved if the staff and management were honorable. Expedia even called on my behalf and they said hotel claimed issue never happened. When I confronted hotel management, they said Expedia misunderstood (which they billed to a language issue) and that I would be credited. As soon as I left their property, they reverted their position. I’ve never encountered such a dishonest hotel management lacking empathy and decency before. St. Lucia was beautiful, but this ruined it for me.

The hotel did experience water issues which was due to the water company not sending water to the entire area for weeks. Because the hotel is only accessible by boat, we were the most affected by this due to how water is pumped across to the hotel. This is 1st time we faced a situation this bad.However, we do have holding tanks at the property as a back up.We exhausted our water back up system because the water company could not restore the main lines due to their own issues that they were facing. We transparent with all guests as to what was happening and gave our best efforts to make everyone as comfortable as possible.Some were understanding and other were not.The room that was given to you for a shower was not used by others.We kept our word with the promise of a refund. We even confirmed this with the agency that you booked with.If you have not received your refund then you need to check with the agency as they are in possession of the funds.We do understand that your stay was not ideal and we do apologize again for this unexpected situation.

It's named "Beach Club" and there is only a small dirty public beach. The pool was out of service so we were on a tropical resort with no place to swim. Judge Judy was blasting on the room tv when we arrived. The room didn't have a place to put suitcases on other than the floor, the wifi and blow dryer didn't work, there was no hot water, and breakfast was awful. The people weren't friendly and it was over priced. This is the first negative review I have ever written but people need to know what they are getting.

The restaurant menu has limited items and unavailable items should be removed. Chef Andy is excellent and accommodated dietary restrictions.

I would 1st like to apologize for the inconveniences caused during your stay.A hotel would not be able to function or even stay open without water for 4 days.We did have interruptions with water due to the island's water supply undergoing repairs.There is a gym and a spa on property.Appointment must be made for the spa.Keys for the gym is collected at the office.While we no longer have a dive shop on property, diving is still an option for all guest.we provide as much information as we can upon arrival and a front desk agent is always available to assist with questions.

We would be out of business as a hotel if we were not able to provide running water for 10 days. There were interruptions in the water supply due to major work by the water supplier for the island.We do have back up systems however they can only last for so long without being able to replenish from the supplier.Lower rooms are available for person with mobility issues.

The location is this resort's best asset. Excellent view across the bay with a calm beach that is perfect for swimming. You need to take the ferry to access the resort from the side of the bay that has the road access, marina, restaurants, etc., but the ferry takes 5 minutes and is constantly running, making this a non-issue. The property is dated, however, and the shower had minimal pressure and heat. The sliding door to the patio was barely usable. The restaurant had decent food but the service is hit or miss....although this is normal for the Caribbean to a certain extent.

Great view! Nice location, kayak on site, we enjoyed the Doo little restaurant, live music and friendly staff, although the rooms need a lot of upgrades, and cleaning. There were roaches and centipedes, a lot of mosquitos, missing propane tank to cook in the stove, coffee machine with an outlet that we couldn’t use. It is a dive resort but the dive place is for rent. Food was good but overpriced. The massage we got at the hotel’s Spa was really good! Overall We enjoyed all the tours we did at Saint Lucia!

The beach at the resort and the calm water for swimming are lovely. But this resort is poorly managed and it's too bad as the setting is amazing. There are a few really good staff here who are hardworking, welcoming and helpful. Many seem uninterested in their jobs or in serving the guests. Not for you if you have trouble with stairs - there are lots of them. Not for you if you like a quiet place. The restaurant loves to play the loud music they enjoy, but not all the guests seem to enjoy it. Next door, on the public beach, are an unruly gang of guys who smoke dope all day, while renting out beach chairs etc. One night they played really loud music, disco level until 1am. Then the roosters start a few hours later. I hope the General Manager - we were there for a week and never saw him - reads this and offers his staff some customer service training and praises the good ones (Ricky, Martin, Flavia and Jean). Maybe pay the staff more, or do something to increase the level of service. One morning our shower didn't work, the toilet flooded twice, then the water was off completely. Couldn't even brush our teeth. Went down to the bar to ask for some water and the bar manager insisted on charging me $5 USD for the bottle of water. The office later apologized. Do something about the gang next door. Feels unsafe over there. The resort advised us to call the police if we were troubled by the noise. Not helpful.

Thank you for your review.As a hotel we have realized that there is guest who will love the hotel, and some will not be due to preferences.One thing we can say is that an effort is always made on the staff part as well a management to address any issues and resolve them before a guest leaves.You did meet with management to address your concerns and was satisfied with the outcome. There are things that are beyond the control of the hotel when it comes to outside factors however, we advise all guest on the area and surroundings.

The location is spectacular . We enjoyed the waterfront location and the views. The property is dated. The restaurant food was fair, but the service was slow. The meals were served in an uncoordinated manner. We were a group of 6 and this unnecessarily stretched out the time spent in the restaurant. One morning breakfast took over 2 hours, and only four of us required food.

Marigot bay is absolutely beautiful the resort is on a steep hill by the bay and beach. Our view was perfect. George was so helpful on giving us information and help. He is the best!! The resort is isolated so it is relaxing. You can arrange excursions from the resort We loved this place

This property is NOT what the pictures show you. Be warned. The Beach is not really a beach. There is a very small beach area but all the locks get to use it and they do not let up with catcalls, selling their wares and trying to get you drinks with inflated prices or sell drugs. The Bay itself is beautiful. The hotel is not maintained. There was a lightning my room that never turned off but couldn't get anyone to change the bulb on the stairs to my room (Dangerous!). I left the hotel midway through my stay because there were no services nearby. excursions we're going to cost extra because a taxi had to be arranged to at least Castries. There are about three restaurants available and none of them offer the same exchange rate. I highly suggest using a credit card because the exchange rate can be as low as 2:1 or slightly lower in one case for me. The bed is very hard and not comfortable, the shower tiny and the water sprayed through the curtain and onto the floor into the main sleeping area. There was no one to offer any explanation of the grounds at check in..i.was thrust some paperwork on my arrival and given a room key and someone walked me to the room but had no idea where anything else was. Met the owner who did not know I was leaving and heard him refer to the place as a *cuss word*. I'm not the only one who changed accomodations during my stay! It was that bad. Oh, and I was not given a refund for the nights I did not stay there. I caution you not to book this property!

Very unique property, with a lot of history. Beautiful ceilings, four poster beds, big decks for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Water taxi to take you to and from what felt like your own private island. We had an amazing snorkelling trip with Dive Fair Helen - it was like taking a marine biology class with Andre. Happy we had the opportunity to have such a unique experience.

This property is on a hill and therefore many stairs not suitable for young children in my opinion .You have to take a ferry ride to the property and if you wish to leave the ferry has to be arranged especially if it’s very early or late but the staff will work with you and arrange. There are food spots close by.It’s definitely not a resort type property .Property is over grown and needs maintenance You do however get a decent amount of space for the price .It’s a dive spot so I suppose if that’s your area on interest then it’s fine .

The property is very nice, quiet and the team members are polite and professional. The foods are delicious but a little bit expensive. Other than that nothing else to complain about. So I will recommend this place to any one including travelers.

Home not at all professional. The staff don't care about you, they are always playing with their cell phones. We paid 2 nights very expensive in a panorama suite. As soon as we arrived we noticed that there was a problem with the plumbing in the bathroom. There was a loud noise that repeated every 5 minutes. Impossible to sleep even with kies balls. We asked to be moved the next morning, this was done very late in the day around 4.30pm. We were relocated to a lower range room. We asked for compensation and to see a supervisor. We were driven around in circles throughout our stay. Also the hotel restaurant is very expensive and the quantities very small. I do not recommend this establishment not at all professional

Amazing place, had to take a water taxi to get to the resort ( free taxi). Had a really enjoyable experience.

Too many stairs. Ants in rooms. The locals have access to guest. Shared beach. Doolittle Restaurant service was slow and the food was ok

Some of the service was outstanding, some was less than desirable. Overall a good experience! Room was lovely, ferry shuttle was always good! Only complaint was some of the service at restaurant.

The property was very quiet and seemed safe although you had to climb a number of stairs which did not bother me The food in Dolittle Restaurant was excellent what I ordered. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant patrons was very friendly. I seemed like home. The reviews that I saw gave me a different picture
