Le complexe hôtelier est superbe, des restaurants de qualité, la bouffe très bonne. ( mais vraiment trop cher pour le $ CAN ) Il devrait y avoir une boutique où l’on peut acheter des snacks, des cartes postales, des timbres. Aucun service touristique autre que de vouloir nous louer des taxis à l’heure. Impossible de se rendre à pied au centre d’achat qui est de l’autre côté du boulevard en construction. Ailleurs, ce serait une simple marche de 10 minutes. C’est un hôtel très important et il n’y a jamais de taxis en attente à la porte. Il faut les appeler et ils chargent un prix d’appel (call) en plus de la course. Impossible d’obtenir un plan de la ville à la réception. La fonction touristique est complètement inexistante.

SUPERBE HOTEL. Pleins de restos dans l'hôtel; dommange que le restaurant libanais soit cher et qu'il ait fallu attendre 45 minutes pour être servi.

Super hotel
Super accueil. Les chambres sont très agréables et spacieuses. Le personnel est très aimable et accueillant. Nous avons même été surclassés car notre chambre n'était pas prête à notre arrivée. Le seul regret, nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine car fermée. Je vous conseille un petit tour au spa qui est des plus agréable !

Bon Séjour dans l'hotel
Bon hotel, avec une chambre adaptée a nos besoins. Chambre prévu pour deux personnes, mais nous avons demandé a faire rajouté un lit d'appoint, ce qu'ils ont fait, et cela à convaincu le 3éme amis arrivé en cours de route. Piscine exterieure grande, avec une jolie vegetation tout autour. Petit bémol... pas assez de transats autour de la pisicine, et barman beaucoup trop long a servir (25min pour 3 cocktails)

BEAUCOUP TROP CHER POUR DES MAUVAISES PRESTATIONS
Difficile de trouver l'accès au chambre. Couloir avec moquette tachée et MAUVAISE CHAMBRE, VIELLOTTE,AVEC VUE DIRECTE ET RECIPROQUE SUR LES TRAVAUX ET LES OUVRIERS. INTERNET NE FONCTIONNE PAS et ne fonctionnnera jamais en chambre.PLUS AUCUNE SERVIETTE DE BAIN DISPONIBLE A 9H30 LE MATIN A LA PISCINE. Retour en chambre pour recupérer une serviette blanche. Le gars à l'entrée de la piscine m'interpelle car je n'ai pas de serviette bleue. Un comble ! AU CHECK OUT UNE ATTENTE TRES LONGUE plus de 20 minutes. CAR PAS ASSEZ DE PERSONNEL PRESENT.LA RESERVATION, PAYEE AU CHECK IN,DE LA VOITURE POUR LE DEPART A ETE FAITE A LA MAUVAISE HEURE. J'ai du attendre 15 minutes de plus alors que des TAXIS étaient disponibles. J'ai demandé à recevoir ma facture par internet, je ne l'ai jamais reçu alors que j'ai donné deux fois mon adresse mail (une fois au check-in et une fois au check-out). Points positifs : WIFI OK dans le LOBBY, le cadre du jardin et de la piscines sont très bien. Le breakfast est très bien également. A EVITER car beaucoup TROP CHER pour les faibles prestations. MAJOR WEAK POINT aucun ATM (cash dispenser) dans l'HOTEL. Il faut aller loin pour pouvoir retirer de l'argent et perdre son temps. Je ne conseille pas cet hotel. J'ai passer la nuit précédente à l'HOllyday INN EXPRESS, c'est moitié moins cher et beaucoup mieux. Inadmissible pour un 5 étoile.

Lovely hotel but needs updating
We originally booked a Executive Apartment but they were tired and cold at night with no heating function on the air conditioning. We were given extra bedding and a portable heater which was electrically unsafe. Not what we expected for a 5 start hotel. However we spoke to the hotel manager the next day after a cold night and were moved to a nice room on the 7th floor in the main building which was more modern and warmer overnight. The room being cold wouldn't normally be a problem but in the winter months its gets cold overnight. Its the first time weve stayed in a 5 star hotel with no heating available. The hotel is lovely but they need a better solution than offering an old electrically unsafe heater to keep the apartment or room at an acceptable temperature. The hotel would definitely benefit from a refresh especially the executive apartments.

This is our getaway destination when we go for short vacations to bahrain.its been 3 years now and i cant be more thankful, the open buffet in friday is the best i ever seen , the activities they do ib the restaurants , the swimming pool.. basically everything I do think it is time to do some updates in the room design

Have been staying at the Gulf Hotel for both work and leisure for over 10 years and have always had a comfortable and pleasurable experience. The hotel’s facilities are what you should expect of a 5 star establishment and all the staff are fantastic, really helpful and welcoming. The on-site restaurants are excellent with a special mention going to the Takht Jamsheed Iranian restaurant and Café Délices. If you don’t want to eat in the hotel there’s plenty of dining establishments within walking distance of the hotel. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great Hotel & Location
Great Hotel in a perfect location, lots of good restaurants in the Hotel itself and in the surrounding area. Staff at the hotel were marvellous and the rooms were to a good standard and very clean. We had a really good stay and will stay there again.
