Dear Enwei, Thank you very much for joining us at JA Manafaru and I am sorry that you do not feel satisfied. It was unfortunate that during your stay, we did experience higher than normal wind conditions, unfortunately, this is out of our control and from time to time weather does affect the ability to do water sports, however snorkelling and swimming are also possible on the other side of the island away from the wind. I know that during your sunset and dolphin cruise, the wild dolphins chose not to appear on that day, however, I am also informed that we did offer you, and you took up, a complimentary sunset cruise as compensation for the dolphins not appearing during your first trip. I am sorry that you did not feel this was acceptable and it would have been ideal to discuss this while you were on the island to find a suitable solution to your dissatisfaction. I spoke with Linda your guest services and I now know that she was delayed in picking you up one lunchtime as she was busy with an arriving guest at that time. We have discussed this and have decided to increase our front office manning to help cover when this happens. Again, my apologies for any shortfalls. We work very hard to do more for our guests and we are saddened to read of your experience.Kind regards, JasonGeneral Manager

Sadly, like many resorts Transportation challenges exist, partly due to the airline carriers covid downsizing (which has still not been re-established) as well as immigration and international flight delays/advances as it has a knock on effect to the local handlers. As you quite rightly mentioned, very important for this to be clear and for guests to reach out to us for clarity. We will always do our best to assist with what we can control.

Thank you again kindly for the review and for choosing our little island for your celebration. It's a good point about the breakfast buffet, but with Covid protocols and feedback from previous guests that they preferred a la carte was the reason we decided to change this. Delighted though you enjoyed the full unlimited a la carte. Thank you for being brave and coming to the most northerly resort in Maldives... we are working hard with the available airline carriers to improve the connections to align with more international flights as they have also been adversely affected by the lack of tourists in Maldives, so we remain hopeful that this can only improve as the world navigates through the new normal.
We hope we can welcome you back to your island and so very happy it was worth it and offered you the down time you deserved.

as mentioned on the other review platform, we are terribly sorry that we did not meet your expectation.
It seems we were sold out of coconuts on the day that you asked and yes depending on the meal plan you as a guest have chosen would dictate if they are included or not. I have no idea why your pool water would have been "smelly", as we have over 90 desalinated water pools on the island all coming from the same water source but again if this was your personal experience, my apologies. Our Spa team provide a wide selection of treatments, given the size of the resort as well as a further selection especially for Children and families and are always available to tailor make an advance bespoke experience for our guests if asked and they are able to assist without impacting other guests existing bookings. As for the journey to JA Manafaru, i am surprised that this would not have been evident when making your resort choice, the reason our owners purchased the island was exactly this reason. For guest to experience the Maldives of 30 years ago where there was still limited impact from the capital city and all the stress that that brings, where there is limited to no noise or plastic pollution and where you can still see beautiful vistas rather than cargo ships and other resorts.
Again, apologies if we have not met your expectation and we value your comments in helping us improve to meet all our guests expectations
