« We stayed at Rachel's at the end of our 15 day road trip out West last April. The location is ideal for visiting the north of LA. The shops nearby are very good. Be careful you need the car. The house is very quiet and Rachel is very welcoming. The environment is splendid. You are surrounded by nature so close to the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a great stay there, too short. Go there no problem. We’re French’s. »

« We loved staying in this classic modern guest house--glass walls that look out on a lovely private patio. Fabian was quick to respond when we had a tiny issue. Neighborhood was also lovely--felt like we were really living in California! »

« This location had a beautiful view and serene outside location. Wonderful hosts, helped if we needed anything. We did not realize however it was the lower unit of the house. There were 2 families above us at different times during our stay, and we could hear every footstep from upstairs. Not ideal, I wish we would have known we were the lower unit, so we could expect that. Otherwise a beautiful place and we had a great time in Malibu! »

« This place was so bad, we decided to leave early. The best part was driving there. If you arrive at night the code key box is the same color as the brick wall it’s hard to find at night and lighting is horrible. There is no way to lock the sliding glass door when you leave it only locks from the inside. The kitchen, the microwave was dirty nasty. We bought groceries but regretted doing so because the cookware we needed was not in the kitchen. The coffee pot was dirty. The stove was dirty. We had...

« The property is in a great location, with a Whole Foods just down the block. The house is quiet and nicely appointed with a great bed, nice furniture, good coffee, and wonderful backyard views (take a nap on the hammock and listen to the bamboo sway in the breeze). It doesn’t have ac, but crack the doors and windows for a breeze and it’s just fine. We would have loved some options for pillows other than feather, but the bed was super comfy. Tout était parfait si ce n’est que dès que l’on regarde un peu plus en détail l’appartement n’est pas parfaitement entretenu (baignoire qui fonctionne à moitié, ampoules qui ne fonctionnent pas, prises cassées, fenêtre qui ferme par un crochet improvisé...)
